If you are “poor” and you are “budgeting” for a mount in WoW then you could be doing it wrong, yes.
My guess would be that a lot of people getting it while saying “I’m a poor” are not actually poor and are just really out of touch. Last part kind of goes with the territory.
Yeah Myz, you know that’s not what he or I were talking about. There was no mention of WoW or the mount in the sentence I quoted.
The fact is, knowing how to budget–or how to delay gratification–has nothing to do with one’s income. And if one is truly “poor,” playing WoW at all would be a bad choice.
Apologies. I read his entire post and not the clip so while I’m not certain about him, that’s fair, it’s not what you were talking about.
Poor people can budget. It’s often what helps raise people out of poverty. They’d just be much more likely to be budgeting around necessities. Perhaps fitting in a WoW sub or other forms of entertainment.
But if you’re going to eat PB&J lunches for an entire month or skip getting the brakes worked on for a brutosaur…
I mean i just turned my gold into bnet balance and bought it…This new bruto was cheaper than my spider mount from the mad merchant and only 500k Gold more than my 3 frog mounts. I mean i purposely save gold in this game exclusively for mounts since i don’t raid or m+ or anything so that massive expenditure is no issue for me.
