Druids can’t(actually no hybrids ever could) simultaneously cast healing and dps spells. You must be using the trump fact finding organization.
yes of course, that is all useless in a raid. I won’t have the mana to throw out heals cuz ima go oom after like 10 starfires. Honestly we have given those up basically on live, our heals do very little and going in to bear is suicide.
And yet its never been more fun to play.
The difference is that those elements were ALL present in vanilla, even if they were not present at the same time.
Most of what Ziryus wants NEVER existed in vanilla, at all.

There’s a difference between asking for changes and pointing out how bad class balance was in vanilla ![]()
Blizzard has made it clear they won’t be fixing class balance issues at launch, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t make sure everyone is aware of them ![]()

And that’s why I’m in favor of pre 1.11 threat levels.
Yep yep, a lot of people want changes of some kind or another.
There is a world of difference between preferring one version of something that was present and changed during vanilla and wanting Blizzard to water down and bastardize Classic by adding any number of non-vanilla QOL conveniences or non vanilla “balance changes”.
Not really, either you want a game state that existed in vanilla or you want changes.
Not surprisingly, you once again intentionally misrepresent “no change” in order to further your agenda of trying to see classic made as far from vanilla as possible since you lost your battle to prevent classic from being made.
It’s really not my fault the no change crowd changed their agenda when they realized that blizzard was going with 1.12, and then suddenly change was okay.
While there were some outliers, the “no change” faction has always had no problems with a “frankenpatch”, as long as all the elements in that patch existed in vanilla at some point, even if they did not all exist together.

Nah a frankenpatch being acceptable was really only a stance that way taken when 1.12 was announced.
Honestly we have given those up basically on live, our heals do very little and going in to bear is suicide.
Which is why they actually allow you to do DPS somewhat close to the pure classes. However, in vanilla all of that stuff is a gcd away…
My change happened during vanilla. The goal isn’t to remake 1.12. It’s to remake vanilla.

Not asking for changes?
How about:
For the benefit of those not watching the other thread:

If a hybrid spends 100% of their time dpsing they should do 100% the dps of a pure

So your change it to create a version of the game that never existed during vanilla?
So is ever other proposed change.
Their is a difference between “buff our damage a little so we do better dps” and “let’s use the wrath -> retail balance model”

A change is a change.
Also at this point I’m not even asking for a balance change as blizzard has made it clear that won’t happen, dual spec or free respecs on the other hand very much falls in line with changes that don’t impact core gameplay.
Why should a feral druid deal as much damage as a rogue when they bring things like mark of the wild and brez? If a feral deals as much damage as a rogue then rogues would be useless. The same can be said for other hybrid vs pure comparisons.
Except blizzard actually encouraged us to discuss a vanilla era Frankenstein patch when they discussed the various elements of vanilla. They have never once encouraged changes that occurred outside of vanilla.

They’ve said they’re open to changes to non core game play changes, like dual spec.
But at least it is composed of stuff that is actively vanilla. What he wants isn’t something that occurred during vanilla.
And blizzard actually discussed a possible frankenpatch
Except dual spec changes game play and effects economy.

yeah…a long time ago.
But just recently at Blizzcon the developers said 1.12 with no changes.
They are not modifying any 1.12 data.

In your opinion, we’ll see what blizzard says about it.

Right which is why people asking for pre 1.12 changes are no different than people asking for post 1.12 changes ![]()
