Except blizzard actually encouraged us to discuss a vanilla era Frankenstein patch when they discussed the various elements of vanilla. They have never once encouraged changes that occurred outside of vanilla.

They’ve said they’re open to changes to non core game play changes, like dual spec.

They never once mentioned dual spec in the “dev water cooler”.

Dual spec would be a core core game play change, BTW, no matter how many times you try to hide that fact.
