It’s only a temporary mid-range class. We still have to stay in melee or we have problems.

The best way to fix ret paladin is have them re-spec holy.

Survival hunter works the same way as ret. As mid ranged melee.

Ret Paladin has been a mid-range melee since Vanilla so why would that change just because other classes gained and then lost a small melee distance modifier?

No. Absolutely no. If you don’t play Ret Paladin, don’t complain about it. Complain about something you play.

One really sleazy thing we see all the time is people implying that what they do and what they have is the only thing that matters. What other people have should be taken away.

Leave Ret Paladins alone. Go back to pestering Blizz for more visage forms and armor for Dracthyr form.

Yuck. Holy paladin is without a doubt the worst healer from a gameplay perspective.

Did Dracthyr players ever stop pestering Blizz to give them everything and to give it to them yesterday?

It is a melee class. If you’re not in melee range, you’re losing out on DPS. We just have the advantage to run out for a moment and then we need to get back in.

I’m the only Drac player telling them all to shut up. :rofl:

I’ve seen it in action. You are routine about insisting that everything needs more love before Drac is expanded on. It’s a lonely job for you though.

Whether or not you think ret is broken is an opinion and I have no input on that. However the popularity of ret as shown by the overwhelming number of ret paladins we see in the game right now suggests that players in general like what they’ve done with ret. And because of this popularity blizz really needs to consider giving other classes and specs the ret treatment. We always make fun of BM hunters, ret pallies etc as being stupid people who play an easy class because that’s all their brains can handle. Is it true? I dunno. What is true? BM and ret are not incredibly popular.

Compare ret to enhance. The number difference is staggering. We go on and on about how specs are too easy and at the same time they’re by far the most popular.

Maybe four bars of abilities you use all the time isnt as appealing as many claim it to be.

Therapy, medication, castration. one, if not all, of those should do it.

You can’t “fix” the ret paladin problem with any of these things.

We all grow up wanting to be the knight in shining armor as a baseline. Best you can do is try to turn kids into death knights and demon hunters.

And let’s face it, we all know that’s worse than just letting them naturally grow into the ret paladins they all deserve to be. :slight_smile:
