If keys dont deplete it will just lead to more completed keys. Kicking someone still doesn’t let you replace them with a new person unless youre willing to start the whole key over.
If someone was doing so bad they had to be removed, it means they don’t belong in that high of a mythic run.

Not really. It will lead to vastly more failed keys, with a minimal increase in completed keys.
We call this, the keyholder.

All keys where you would kick someone are keys that you would have left otherwise.
That simple. A failed key is a failed key no matter how hard you slam your face against the brick wall.

No, me being unwilling to pug my key and risk it dropping to a 9 because of another person makes it useless. Which is why I’m in favor of no more key depletions. Honestly I don’t even want a key. I just want to click the orb of a dungeon I want to run, set it to the level I want to run it at (as long as I and my party members have unlocked that level), and run the dungeon. With this system if someone leaves because we aren’t going to time it and unlock the next level I can just try again instead of being stuck one level lower.
Just to try and make it a bit clearer on why I feel this way about the system I am 633 Ilvl, have timed every dungeon at a 10 or higher, don’t care about pushing score, and am capped on Gilded crests. I’m only doing keys for my vault for most of them. If I pug my own key and it depletes below a 10 I’m not going to waste my time building it back up, I’ll just pug someone elses. I’d simply rather be able to start my own group because its more convenient.

I never said kicking someone lets you invite someone new. That was never on the table. Keys not depleting will lead to more failed runs because you will have the current leavers on top of the new people being kicked. It will make pugging more toxic.
Tanks don’t need a buff aside from Brewmaster.
So you never run your key, and it’s useless anyway?
Yes, so a lot more keys are failed because people leave.

Pretty much. Why risk my key dropping down to a level not worth my time when I can pug/risk someone else’s key instead?

Because your key has a higher chance of success.
Tanks are balanced for 10s to 12s right now but at stuff like 16, the damage incoming is higher than the ability to reduce it without using exploits or simply having damage thats higher than 1 round of mechanics.
Also, its literally impossible for M+ to get more toxic.
Blizzard doesn’t tune things for Title range keys. This isn’t an issue for 99.9% of players and isn’t worth worrying about.
As you said, tanks are more or less balanced for 10s to 12s which is where gear progression and rewards end. That’s where they tune things for.
At some point, things will become mathematically impossible. Does it really matter which breakpoint is hit first?
If the breakpoint has to be dps, then just remove tanks and healers. Easier. No need to worry about tanks doing stuff or healers healing stuff.
Yes because only prot paladin is pushing 16+ right now due to the same issue making ret OP in pvp- they do tons of damage and have damage immunity. 2x that of same role equivalents.
This is objectively false and you know it. Warriors were doing 16s before the .0.5 patch.
Demon hunter sighted at 17.
Warrior too.

Just one of each. And both Chinese. Rest are all prot paladins …We know why.
China lives by " if you aren’t cheating you aren’t trying ".
Was more than one and what does it matter if they are Chinese?’
That’s just racist.

When you lose a argument you go straight to the racism claim. Fail. Get out. Now.
Look it up mate. They have a booming bot/hack community that is active in all online games. Its why blizzard declined to allow them back into MDI.
Eh
I’m tired. If landing dawn breaker ship only to fall thrpugh
I’m tired of clearly not standing in anything, or in the path of an orb, but getting hit by it anyhow
I’m tired of parties who don’t mark their tanks
I’m tired of the tanks that love to point any mob with a cone in my direction.
I’m tired of the bad parallax views that give me. Zero depth perception so I can’t see what’s going on.
I’m tired of tanks. Fighting packs in doorways or under arches so you can’t see anything

Actually it depends on the level. Early in the season I had a tank dc in an Ara-Kara 4 after the second boss. So I swapped to tank and we 4 manned it. I think we still managed to time it (my goal wasn’t timing it anyway I was Sacbrood farming). We also know that the dc/d tank got loot because only 1 item dropped. Sure, it sucks knowing they got loot when they didn’t even finish the dungeon, but its not a big deal to me.
Not always. In mythic you want 20 people. If 1 person is under performing and you don’t have a 21st person you aren’t going to kick them and 19 man it. A warm body is better than an empty space unless they are mechanically wiping the raid.
If I’m running an m0 and someone goes afk I don’t usually even notice unless its a tank or healer. The effort to right click and remove them would be too much effort for the amount that I care that I’m carrying them.
I’ve seen people afk in lfr, win loot, and not get kicked. Same with LFD. Heck I’ve done random heroics at a point I have so much gear that I practically solo the dungeon. Taking the time to right click and initiate a vote to kick, and then wait for a replacement would be more of a waste of time than just getting over it and solo’ing the dungeon.
Would it happen? Sure. Would it become commonplace? We literally do not know.
A raid boss only gives you loot once a week. The vault from m+ is also once a week. Thats why I am comparing the two. The rewards from both are weekly.
Bro…
If your trying to argue that you meant you get less crests not loot then maybe you should say crests and not drops.
Thank you for proving my point.
We agree to disagree.
