I really doubt they will listen to beta players either. History dictates they won’t .
Only when it goes live we will see what really happens.
you might need 2 if you take more than one type of content seriously
or if you want to play a different ability regularly
or if you like the minigames of one covenant more
or if you want the transmog, and something to wear it on
No, you are not disagreeing with me, you are saying neither the people arguing for or against is worth talking. You’re trying to silence and end the discussion, you admitted to this. So don’t try and backtrack now and act like I can’t stand opposing opinions.
Derailed this thread by making the post around you? You was the one that engaged with me in a pointless argument. Of course I am going to respond. Stop playing dumb, it is not grounds for innocence.
Unless you want to have and enjoy all 4 of the new covenant abilities, then there is a problem.
This is no longer a top 1% issue. Infact it’s the top 1% that wouldn’t care about switching Covenants every tier.
It’s people like me and you who want to go into a BG and test out a new ability, or to do a +15 with optimal AOE talents that will struggle the most.
I want to play a Necrolord Paladin next expansion, however Necrolord gives a redundant Defensive. However Venthyr has a much needed teleport, if I plan to pvp seems like there is only one covanent option. Since blizzard decided to lock so much content behind covanent, my “meaningful choice” is do I want to enjoy the roleplay, or actualy get an ability that makes sense.
Good point. It probably will be a problem for more than I thought. Especially if you want the mog from all 4 covenants. I’m guessing we’re stuck with what they came up with, since it’s probably way too late for them to redesign. Maybe they could loosen the restrictions a little?
So it will be super awesome until patch 9.2 or 9.3 when it ejects into the canopy.
They can not want players swapping but if X covenant ability is better for X content then players will be forced to switch to be competitive. As long as players enjoy multiple sources of end game content then you cant force players into making one choice.
Imagine every time u swap talents for mythic + or raiding you have to jump though hoops, or swapping talents for battleground to something more for arena. Also swapping in arena based on the enemy comp and the comp your playing that day.
I’m very easy to please. Covenants shouldn’t affect gameplay at all. I shouldn’t be locked into unfun gameplay because of an rp choice, and I shouldn’t be locked into an unfun rp choice because i want fun gameplay.
