You only have to actively exclude yourself from grouping with people who do use it, and in that situation, the add-on author was nice enough to give irrational people like you the ability to do so quite easily.

The whole point of the add-on is that it parses the spam in the channel to make it easier to read.

Why would people do that anymore anyways when there’s the global LFG channel?
The addon can auto-post, at most, once a minute and at least once every five minutes.
The average person, in my experience, tends to repost their LFM/LFG when their last message gets pushed out of the chat window. With the way these mega-servers will be populated (and I do mean every server, not just Herod) and the fact that chat isn’t restricted to a single layer, this addon is going to be the least of your concerns when it comes to spam.
Also, if you go /afk it stops posting.
Exactly, this should be a thing. Making everything fast and easy is retail’s job now. BfA nailed it.
If there was no addon then it would be people spamming those posts and many of them don’t follow respectable intervals for their spam…

People are behind these messages though. It’s only slightly different than me hitting my “LF2M SM-Library” macro occasionally while I read a book and only looking up when I hear someone whisper me.

BfA has flying and you can teleport right to the dungeon, no more wasting time.

this add on deviates from the original form of what classic was in a sense.
this add on is 1.0 , Think what could happen the moment 1.1.5 or 1.2 comes out and makes it just as LFD or LFR. Stop the problem before it can potentially happen.
Other add ons like quest tacker aren’t as bad as this or what it could become.

it came from cross servers why did cross servers happen ? why did LFD happen ? Why did LFR happen ?
some people say cross servers was the main problem it was but the add on Oqueue added on to that problem just as much as it tried to help it.
Seriously it’s not that hard to just type in chat /4 or /2, /who in the area around that level and whisper them "hey do you want to join in on this dungeon we need you ? are you a tank ? no ? we can give you some gear. "
if the guy developing this add on had any respect for classic wow and the classic community he’d stop developing it and make a different add on for people who are already grouped. This add on can ruin the experience for the tons of others who don’t use it.

Yeah, sitting doing nothing, like the waiting in stormwind for 4 hours. Very enticing gameplay there.
Keep in mind that this addon doesnt make travelling to the dungeon together, wiping or steamrolling the dungeon any faster… You know, the things that matter.
