That Blind was very fast but that Rogue expected the Cheap Shot. The other Rogue highly likely didn’t expect the Rogue to LAP which is why they couldn’t Blind or Gouge before they got hit with the Blind.
The point is you can LAP > Fear/Blind/Gouge etc. much faster than a Rogue can react to the LAP.
Yea 100% if you open and i LAP you’re most likely eating the blind period.
Your only recourse is to LAP also and then blind me.
And potions share a CD of 2 minutes so you can LAP and Resto pot like the person above in the thread said.
Probably not applicable to you, but Dwarf Pally seems to really mess up rogues.
With LAPs rogues can’t beat shadow priest at all or lock.
Also with priest you need to keep up your life steal buff and SWP and recast shield as often as possible.
Fear isn’t going to do much if you die fast when fear ends. The entire point of priest is surviving until 2nd fear. Then it’s GG.
At this stage of the game you REQUIRE R14 gear to live. Rogues to too much damage now.
Problem is I essentially have to let him open up on me since im jumping down into the Arena and cant find him even if i try running around. So I have to bait open the chest and obv he opens up. But yeah used a LAP last time and beat him and got the AGM piece for my mage twink lol.
If you die in kidney to a rogue your gear is trash. You need gear. You need R14 gear as Spriest especially.
Yeah im R9 atm and frankly dont really care much to hit 14 if im being honest. Mainly just after AGM for my twinks I plan to make b4 it gets worse to get in TBC lol
Get the detection items. Cats eye elixer / goggles if eng, and have a budddy with a fel hunter join for another +30 detect. As you are about to open the chest pop your peasant caller (barov trinket) and start cast. He will not be able to get within sap range before aggro. Your lock should instant DoT and start working him, you also help.
Remember CC > Damage so dont skimp on CC.

You can do the same stun stuff to him. Break stun with trinket, fear, then sleep dust, then rocket helm.
He can break fear and sleep dust but then will have to sit rocket helm.
All CC can break on heart beat checks. So yes it can break randomly. If not rogues would be the most OP class in the game. They could perma CC you forever.
There is also DR so you can’t just keep CCing someone over and over. The time keeps getting shorter until they go immune.
