In 9.2, you’ll be taking quests and turning them into Sylvanas as we pursue the Zovaal in the new reality he’s creating.

I’m speculating that will be the case. I’m getting my salt on right now so that when 9.2 rolls around I’ll just be in a further stage of grief, hopefully acceptance.

And you know what, silver lining: I’m OK turning stuff into Sylvanas. I might let my sub lapse if she has us turning stuff through Nathanos.

I would barf.

I love the story but I feel like I experience the game like you when I play an alt.

I literally stopped caring before this expansion was even released. The redemption arc wasn’t even surprising to me. It was perhaps one of the most predictable things that’s happened so far, from my occasional observations.

Also I barely do anything in game these days, besides level and roleplay, so I doubt I’d even be in such a scenario regardless.

I actually won’t be doing this, since I don’t play shadowlands content. I will be watching the salt on the forums with lurid fascination.

Call me Lot’s wife because I’ll be a pillar of salt. I f***ing refuse to turn in quests to Sylvanas Windrunner. I get that they’re going the whole Illidan route (since he was retconned greatly), but on the list of war crimes: Sylvanas > Illidan.

On the list of character motivations: Illidan > Sylvanas. The two are not the same.

I’ll be salty if I can’t have a fake choice that doesn’t matter and choose to join Zovaal…only for it to turn out like Darth Nihilus and he just screams at me when I try to join him then proceeds to murder me.
