How quickly will you hit 60?

Aiming for <8 days played, probably gonna take 2 months or so.

Class selection really does matter a lot for this though. I’ll be playing a shaman.

Probably about a month or 2 to get to 60, it will be moot to speedrun to get to 60 within the first week, you probably won’t even be able to scrape together a group for 5mans after a week so you’d just be grinding.

2-3 weeks maybe abit more, maybe abit less.

I’m not even thinking about how quickly I will get to 60 because I don’t care for rushing.

That said - I think it will take me at least two months with some moderate hours.

is anyone concerned about day 1 server stability? or is all that old school problems?

I believe blizzard is accounting for that. You can look for forum topics related to “sharding” which address the server stability issue, and the public opinion on the idea of sharding in general.

For me, it would be to maximize time off, so that once work starts again (which can mean 72 hours a week in the summer), I won’t fall too far behind raiding guilds, and when summer ends, I can raid.

I don’t know what the big deal is. I’ve got ~12 hours /played on this guy. I know people say the 50-60 push takes way longer but I should still be hitting 60 at ~18 hours played max. You guys are all noobs.

I’m just going to take my time and allot an hour or two each day to read the chat channels when some folks find out that leveling in Classic:WoW bears absolutely no similarity to leveling in the Cataclysm-altered WoW. And maybe an hour or two in the forums reading all the QQ about needing to nerf and buff this or that class or mob or boss.

No heirlooms, gotta run back to the class trainer for every additional talent point and PAY for the training, run to the nearest repair NPC to repair and empty those tiny bags, staring bug-eyed at the prices in the AH and looking at how much silver and copper coins you have …:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
