How PvP scaling ruins PvP

I think we’re no strangers of the “pvp scaling mechanism” Cdew made a clip not long ago on his Twitch channel showing how they did a 100k+ crit on a monk with 80k hp points and she didn’t die. Pvp scaling is another tool of the many existing ones used for catering to “new” people that put near to no effort to the game and complain about being oneshotted in battlegrounds or arenas, I think it’s unfair for players that put their time an effort on making their characters stronger to have such a unfair tool dimish all their work. I think this tool should be removed players should enjoy what they worked for and should be rewarded for doing so.

Are the days of PvP being about skill long gone? Everyone just wants to be a PvE Lord, then jump into PvP and 1-shot newbies. What is wrong with all of you?

Literally what is wrong with all of you?

Go MS critters. No surprise a Warrior made this thread.

What are you talking about?

In your eyes, you’ve “earned the right to 1-shot people”.

And I’m criticizing your view on what PvP should be about.

Well if you don’t want to be oneshotted then gear up buddy. Easy.

I don’t think Blizzard cares of low lvl pvp or pvp in general

Asmongold reacts a lot lately.
It’s a cheap way to produce content with someone else content and make money out of it. Good for him i guess.

Just gear up.

Just get into a Mythic run, 426 ilvl guy.

Just earn 480 ilvl, dude.

In an environment where people only party with over-qualifiers, because everyone overqualifies, and everyone wants the fastest runs.

Idc about asmongold, I’m showing a video that demonstrates how broken the tool is.

It’s pretty scummy if you ask me. His reaction videos get more views than the videos he reacts to.

Asmongold plays a character who is a buffoon who is constantly flabbergasted that every mechanic in the game isn’t designed to benefit him.

Well you could have linked the real video rather than a reactionary one especially by the bald guy

You know your thread will just be ignored and bombarded with flags right . Then your point never gets across

You’re a good example of the people this tool caters to, you make excuses about not being able to gear up and you whine and cry. I geared up by pugging and getting kicked out of groups, I’m pretty sure you can do that too instead of being such a baby.

Wow. What a flawed brain you possess.

Ok - what are those figures? Can we get a before & after diagram?

Asmo gives these people exposure. Asmo ALREADY HAS his following. He COULD just make videos about frickin’ anything. And he’d still get most of those views. But by “reacting” to these other content creator’s videos, he makes SO MANY people aware of them!

I literally only discovered PewDiePie because of Shroud reacting to him. Now, whenever I feel like watching his style of video, I know where I can go. Thanks, Shroud!

Do you realize how many people are THANKING Asmo for his reaction videos? How many people WISH their videos would be next???

Asmon fan boy much?

Jesus, you’re such a WARRIOR player.

Nah, gear gaps that make the Grand Canyon look like a sidewalk crack are far more detrimental to PvP than any kind of scaling is.

What a predictable response. I lay out reason and logic, and you just flip the “fanboy” card.

It must be really easy to have your psyche.

His fans don’t go back to view the original content. The point of the videos he produces is to mock them so people won’t think of going there and viewing the original.

He mostly reacts to people who already have a good following. See Bellular, who developed his channel and community through literally years of hard work and dedication.

Please provide the metrics where Asmongold has reacted to a video from someone with a smaller community where their sub count has suddenly shot up due to him reacting to their content.

Please provide someone explicitly thanking Asmongold for his reactions.

Your logic is entirely based on assumption if you can’t provide the facts and data.
