I started in 2007 I think I just hit 70 when they released Sunwell patch
I first heard about it in April of 2005. I made my account in May. Been playing off and on since. So many adventures, so many friends made and then lost as they moved on. None of my friends from then still play.

I’m so old school the first game I played was called stick and all it was was me waving a stick around.

Well. Technically I made my first trial account character in 2006. But never got him out of Teldrassil. My real adventure started in 2008 and I was already in my 20’s. Heck, I was in my 20’s when Vanilla released lol.

Feb. 2005. WoW was my first MMO (haven’t really bothered too much with others since then, either). This is also the first character I ever created back on that fateful night!

2004 here, still remember there was no release on my country and I got the beta client with a friend of mine from the US.
The only problem was paying in us-bidens (technically us-bushs at the time) but it was a small price for amazing fun.

I started about mid Vanilla, starting with a Gnome Mage that I still have and actively play, along with the Undead Warrior, Human Warlock (this one), Dwarf Rogue and Tauren Shaman I made back then, roundabout the same time.
