18 - Didn’t buy WoW back then. No internet and no gaming computer.

So I bought Halo2 and proceeded to ignore all other obligations for a few months XD

I was 9-10 years old when wow came out those memories are still fresh and I relive them everyday in game.

Still have my lvl 60 undead priest called psychobob ! Everytime I quest in Tirisfal glade or Durotar/Barrens It’s like being 10 years old over and over again I feel like a child hehe :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I turned 50 this year so I was 36 when it came out. I wasn’t a subscriber until last summer! I missed out on so much!

Like 11 lol, wast playing wow in 04 though, more like 5 years later in 09.

I was 27 when I started playing. I have taken a few breaks throughout the years. I have never been able to get my wife to play because of a ex-bf that ignored her for the game. She despises it and will never play it.

It would have been the start (almost) of a new year. I just turned 19, graduated in 04.

Interesting. I started playing at 27 after a college buddy of mine, who works for Blizzard, told me it’d be worth checking out. I got to toodle around on the beta for a bit, and started on day 1.

I say interesting, because my wife was so addicted to Myspace and sitcoms, I started playing a lot, and was a hardcore raider for the first few years, and mostly for the social aspect. We divorced, and I met someone (now wife) who I found out plays WoW after our first date. We still play together, more casually now.

For '81 born, just subtract the last digit by one.

Like in 04, minus the four by one, and you know if you were in your 20s or such.

I was 26 when it first came out. Loved it then, still love playing it now. Hell even my Son loves this game (he’s 6 and itching to start playing) and my 3 year old daughter loves running around my house with her sword screaming “For the Horde” (I play mostly Alliance by the way lol)

I was 35. I remember hearing my co-workers talk about it and thinking “what a bunch of nerds” and “who would pay $15/month to play a video game?” then one of them traded me a copy of the game for a piece of computer equipment and I’ve been playing ever since.

I was 38 when it came out and tried a free trial that i found in a gaming magazine. I liked it, but told myself that i wouldn’t spend $15 a month to play a game. Then in October of 2005 I was at Wal-Mart looking for something new to play and decided to get a copy of WoW and bought a game time card and decided to give it 3 months to see if I liked it. I haven’t played continuously since then, but I have purchased every expansion and have had at least one max level character in each one.

I was 42 when the game came out. I didn’t start playing the game until Wrath

I was a youngster then. I’m 23 now, WoW came out when I was 9. I started playing the game in 2007.
