… I know this. I’m just reminding us all that Xal’atath’s potential involvement with K’aresh is a red herring if we’re trying to establish a timeline, and that even Voidsong the one connective tissue we have between Xal and Dim, offers nothing. That is all.
However, while looking for more information, I did find some things that might be useful, but I fear they will probably be retconned, because it does give us a very rough timeframe for K’aresh.
Nexus-King Salhadaar was the ruler of the pre-Ethereal mortal population before K’aresh’s destruction.

The quest to murder him gives a timeframe of his “quest to kill all that stand in his way” as “a thousand years, maybe more” which would probably be somewhere in the 1,000-2,000 range (I just do not imagine that “a thousand years, maybe more” would be more than double the estimate).
