I started with TBC in 2007. I’d estimate between $2.5k and $3k.
In the thousands, mainly from 15 years of subbing.
I’ve never paid for character “services”, being satisfied with what I make and where I am. But I have paid for mounts over the years, especially on sale.
Many thousands I think, all collector’s editions from Cata onwards, bunch of store mounts and pets, some TCG mounts and pets, all Blizzcon pets from 2009 onwards. Add to the race changes, faction changes, level boosts and tokens. I’d say it would be close to $10k

Taking into account transaction history and sub fees (including the various times I’ve had two subs going and the few months I had a third), I figure I’ve spent no less than $6,950…shoot me now…

I’d guess atleast $5000 but I’m at work right now so I can’t give a more accurate number
I think maybe around 700; I didn’t play for 2 expansions completely, and most of legion I paid using gold.
It seems like a lot to compile it like this but I think about what someone spends on an average weekend out drinking with the boys – what, 50 bucks minimum for food + drinks? easy 150-200 per montht on that sort of entertainment. In comparison to other some other entertainment, it’s pretty cheap and reliable.
Too much.
