How many times are players allowed to stream snipe before action is taken?

Stream sniping is not against the ToS right?

Besides, streamers can’t be sniped on PvE realms so they have nothing to worry about. lol

this …If your going to paint a target on your back dont be surprised when people shoot at it.

When someone’s actions define Griefing, then something will be done. Obvs.

Streamers chose to stream this game, and when they did they agreed to the same rules as the rest of us. They don’t need special rules just for them. Whatever griefing rules are in place for the rest of us should be the same rules in place for them.

I would say…until they get bored with it or the streamer stops giving away his location?
It comes with the territory of streaming.

If you are a streamer and you have so few followers that they can’t protect you from corpse camping, then you probably need to get more followers or stop streaming.

Huh? There’s no rule against PvP. You’re thinking of a different game.

Why would Blizzard or anyone else care whether a streamer is sniped? If they don’t want to be sniped, they shouldn’t stream. The idea that Blizzard should protect them is idiotic.

You can tell the OP is a millennial.

I cant believe this is even a thread lol. Who gives a sh*t. Why would you even watch some clown play classic when you can just play it yourself?

Exactly. What makes streamers think that anyone is going to watch them once Classic is launched?

We used to camp/get camped until someone logged and nobody got banned. Why would a silly streamer be protected if they roll on a pvp realm?

Unless the player is safespotting or in some way exploiting the game to grief the streamer, there is no recourse from Blizzard. If its a popular enough streamer they’re going to get help from their base anyways so it will naturally play itself out.

Welcome to Vanilla PvP I guess? I never understood people who think theres a way to report people for World PvP and camping.

If you publicly show what you’re doing on the internet expect to have your game experience interferred with. Theres a host of benefits that come with streaming, this is a downside.

If getting stream sniped is a problem it’s on the streamer to do something about it, IE turn off their stream.

Solution to stream snipe 10-15 minute delay. Have your stream open on a second monitor so you can see what chat sees and follow their conversation without giving away what you are doing in real time. Nothing better then seeing a stream sniper get toxic when they realize your using a delay.

That might work for a shooter, but in a MMO, you typically linger in an area longer than any delay. The best solution is either A) don’t roll PVP, or B) don’t stream. If you do these things, you do them of your own free will, no one forced you to, you allow, enable, and consent to whatever consequences that may bring. This might all seem obvious… but I’ve literally seen developers ban players for killing streamers, as if you shouldn’t be allowed to, in a PVP game. Fortunately, Blizzard isn’t one of these.

Streamers need as much camping as the servers are capable of maintaining.
