How many of you will quit Slands once TBC comes out?

It is definitely looking this way.
TBC looking like a mid-late June drop w/ Prepatch ~1 month prior.
9.1 Projected @ July +/- 1 month.

Why anyone would want to press a reset button on this game is beyond me. I respected Bliz’s dedication to making a classic Classic up until they decided to add micro transactions. That’s a glaring red flag.

It’s brilliant, though. Reset everyone’s sunk cost fallacy, bring back sub fees, add Retail micro-transactions, reduce/remove the cost of new content. You get 14 more years of players re-investing themselves in the game under the guise that maybe it’ll come back to life again.

Atleast in TBC rogues can’t get infinite restealths. Warriors also can’t condemn with death sentence, and mages aren’t tankier than tanks. Sounds better already.

I heard today that with the leway changes u can’t vanish CC or Death CC thats. If that stays till the real game I won’t play it and that is the only thing that could make me quit b4 the game comes out.

At this point you can not death or vanish cc, rogues cant even gouge novas or anything.

You had me until the last line.

Shadowlands is by far the superior expansion LOL

With this logic, then Shadowland PVP is pretty balanced.

It ain’t bad. Slands sucks cause the gameplay is boring af

TBC having resilience and better overall scaling means that people aren’t going to melt in the time it takes you to think about farting. Later seasons once resilience starts getting over the 400 to 450 mark games start getting a lot longer but I think the overwhelming majority of people would prefer that to games that ended because they didn’t pre-wall the opening cheap shot 10 seconds of the game.

Quitting when my Sub runs out. Not playing TBC either.

TBC was crap.

MOP, WOTLK and SL are way better expansions

Yep, this is what I’m thinking too.

I’ll probably take a break from SL and hop on the TBC train for a while, but I’m very skeptical of the longevity of arena. If the community and mindset is anything similar to how it was when Ranking came out in Classic (and I think it will be) then I can’t see myself sticking around long term. It’ll definitely occupy all of my WoW attention for at least a couple months though, super pumped.

Wait I won’t be able to desync vanish in BC? Nah I’m good. That’s not how it was back then and I mained rogue. That was a core part of playing a rogue back then. Being able to finesse situations was what made the rogue unique to say a warrior.

It has been a LONG time, but I do remember playing Warrior x2, with Druid, Shammy, and Priest heals. Games took forever but we eventually won most.

Think that was fun? Imagine having a totem that auto cleansed the poisons for you, a searing totem, flame shock earth totem was huge against rogues, and healing totems if you get space and are clean. Just hit the ol rogue totem stomp macro and heal in between stuns whenever possible, replace totems rogue kills, then laugh as the rogue eventually runs away from the sticks in the ground.

Not sure if random resist, random mace stun, double mana drain is fun.

More fun than getting randomly deleted by a wings proc by someone that has absolutely no idea what they’re doing while I’m in a HoJ.

Even if, TBC was more fun than shadowlands, like the min/maxing mage monetizers ruined classic, they will ruin tbc.

I mean theres a stacking buff visible on the random wings proc.

But like if you think people won’t play lock hunter rdruid and just drain your mana for 3min then kill you. Because thats actually what’s the meta gonna be like
