By “fresh” I mean new servers where everyone starts from level 1, not carry over from Classic servers + boosts.
“Fresh server” generally refers to servers that start from scratch, not just ones that are new.

imagine a server that locks after the first week of release, then opens up for 1 week every 2 months and locks again.
that way you cannot run out of ppl doing the same content at the same pace.

You people clearly do not get the point or reason for a Fresh Classic lvl 1 and it could easily be released yesterday with #nochanges.
Classic + was supposed to be the option at the end of THIS era of vanilla gaming. Everyone was forced into TBC and people are seriously pissed at how things went down.
because of the general betrayal of the community and mismanagement of server population and those two reasons ALONE dictate the necessity of Fresh Classic Servers for players to start lvl 1 (and bliz actually kill out the bots and not take bribes from them to continue on)

By Far the coolest and best Raid Ever!? Yeah who would want to do MC and Ony and play Classic? I guess you really just don’t get it. The game could forever stay in phase 1 & 2 (PvP) and I would never get bored. As long as AV is out and Blackrock Mountain is prime hunting ground I’d have a blast.

The fun of MC (for me) was directly related to the company you kept. If your raid members were just there for progression loot, and not socialization, I could see why many disliked it. But if you are not playing an MMO as the backdrop of socialization, I’d question why play an mmo in the first place.

I play Classic Era right now. I don’t raid; I never have and never wanted to. Classic Era has everything I ever wanted in WoW and I am thoroughly enjoying my time in game. There are many of us. Join us. A fresh server is not needed if what you want is the old game. It is only the raiders that come up short and all they want to do is burn through the content anyway. It is the raiding mentality that fosters support for boosts and gold buying (and hence bots and gold sellers).

I missed the first classic release so I would definitely be checking it out if they actually do a classic refresh.

Yes maybe that’s why it was such a great experience. I was the healer druid that worked my way up in gear to actually participate as a boomkin and I had a blast! People were great working together and we actually got bosses down consistently and had a fair loot system that all people involved agreed upon (2 months before Classic launch) It was very well organized. Shout out to Blacklisted of Whitemane

Ill probably continue to focus on TBC for now, though I’d love to return to Vanilla as those were the best of times for me. Would be better if they waited til TBC’s end to launch but alas.
