I LOVE Transmog, but I also love dressing all my Bankers in unique, rare non-transmogged gear. It’s my challenge with my Bankers to not Transmog their gear at all.
And the all (all 15 of them!) do look amazing!

I don’t go too far out of my way to get transmog items.
But I do have at least one outfit put together for each of my many alts. My favourite alts may have a few outfits saved to them.
They may not all look spectacular, but I try to keep them presentable. 
I mog my gear but I’m not motivated to collect old items. I tend to mix and match current expansion pieces to make something I like to look at.
I didn’t care about transmog, Blizzard forced it on me.
Have you see these horrid helmets that warlocks get? Covering up these glorious pink ponytails? 99% of the helms are dreadful. That alone compels me to transmog.
I don’t do it seriously though. I have my BC set, and the new Kyrian set. I pretty much go pot luck while leveling until they slap one of those awful cans on my head. Then…away we go!

I can’t play without a decent mog, unless an entire set available from a current raid or even dungeon is good enough for my class on any of my characters.
Or you do, and just posted on a character that you removed your mog from first.

Only Warcraft would have a top director that doesn’t use any of the games features or care for them, doesn’t surprise me that the game is failing.

I mean look at Shadowlands gear.
You get to run around looking like a Vex straight out of Destiny if you’re cloth.
You get to be some weird robot cyclops if you’re plate (I hate that helmet so much)
The leather helmet has a bizarre collar around it
If you’ve got raid gear on, SoD gear makes you look like Sauron (especially the cloth)
The only set I’ve liked outside of the covenant sets is warrior plate from Nathria.
Fortunately most of the covenant mog sets look good.

I used to not care, but then items have become very bland looking lately, and so I just opted for this generic shiny paladin mog.
At first, I didn’t care about it, then I realized it’s uses:
Individuality being a big one. I can dress however I want. i can dress like a 2 year old dressed me or like a mature adult dressed me.
Or I can be one of those people that let the devs dress me.
I like my way.
Even if you don’t care about tranmog, you should care.
Transmog fixes people’s minor OCD.
Allows you to make stuff that matches and goes together.
Plus it gives you options to make your character unique to you

Before transmog I would actually wear suboptimal gear like robe of arugal for dozens of levels just to avoid clown suits.
So I cared about it even before it was a thing.

It isn’t Activision hooking people for transmog gear , it is a play style choice. One I like very much…Others don’t care that is their option. I am for one glad Transmogging is available.
I don’t know what I’d do if my men weren’t either topless or had the Epic Purple Shirt on. Both make their deeps better.
