I view reality as any sane and reasonable adult would. You underestimate the selfishness inherent in human nature by assuming devs would risk their careers and the financial solvency of their families by sticking it to “the man” to make a few randos on the internet happy, and you greatly overestimate their ability to stick it to “the man” in the first place.
