Blizz really should get forsaken and night elves/Worgen sorted.
While we’re on that… Gnomes?

Yeah thats never happening lol
Karma
Goblins too pls. Kezan/Lost Isles is still just sitting around being unused, even though its one of the prettiest zones Blizzard has ever released.
Since the half life of plague is 1 billion years? A very long time.
For most the expansion my personal theory was that during the 9.0 pre-patch the PC would use up the remaining power of the Heart of Azeroth to (for horde) cleanse and restore Undercity and Tirisfal or (for alliance) to revitalize Teladrassil. It would have been similar to what we did with our artifact weapons and the giant sword. Blizz would have used the opportunity to have updated versions of UC and Darnassus.
However various things have made my theory much less likely. The end of the nyalotha raid, the little info we now have about the beginning of SL, etc…
It’s not 100% ruled out IMO but very unlikely at this point. Still it’d be nice to see something like this as frankly I find it boring and lazy that almost all changes to the open world that are made are also destructive. That can be cool and impactful some times but it’s not fun to constantly have things taken away.
Quick question. Did you want the flame decals on the mechas? Or paint them in Gilneas colors?
Well Chernobyl is still uninhabitable 36 years later and that didn’t involve magic.
It is usable now… Just talk to Zidormi to have her shift you into the past. That is what I did for Teldrassil and it is like it never burned.
Talk to the chat bubble and go back in time, problem solved. Did that for all of my characters.
Neither one of us are regaining the cities we lost in BFA
For the Horde both of them? Works for me.
This vulp gets it.

But that doesn’t count. I prefer to stay in the current timeline always.
I don’t really miss it because it was never my favorite city, but that’s more because of how they distribute portals than anything else (why would you not hearth to org, like, ever?).
I miss darnassus more actually, night elves were my favorite race until they got all emo and edgelord over their lost tree. Ironically I started up this character anticipating new forsaken leadership, I don’t care who it is just so it’s not that bitter undead elf. Also the boneless option will be a thing, I’m hoping I can remove the elbows/knees and keep the rest. I’ve actually acclimated to the cata models and I don’t find the bones as egregious as I did back in TBC, so maybe it isn’t as big a deal as I entered thinking.
I just really want any other leader than Sylv, she sucks royally. I don’t understand how anyone can like her, her attitude is completely wretched. Zombies need a leader who will uplift them and not be bitter all the time.
Plus Azzanos can’t be fired soon enough, if I thought I hated sylv, well, I really really hate that guy. He uses the human model, that’s reason enough. If he looked like a forsaken I’d probably be more amenable.
If I can’t have my tree, you can’t have your sewer.
Your character is beautiful, BTW. Very nice job.
I heard Darnassus was nice and warm this time of year. Maybe we should open an undead resort there.
Ironic how undead ask others how long their blight lasts
You’ll get your filthy blight sewers under a ruined city back when Teldassil is restored, the Gilneans return to gilneas, the gnomes get to reclaim gnomeregan , the darksprar get their own capital, the goblins return to Kazan, and the alliance thalassian elves get their own city . . . Your gonna be waiting a Loooooooooong time friend.
But that tree wasn’t meant to be planted. It wasn’t allowed.
Doesn’t matter, Undercity will be restored after Teldrassil and all those other things I said . . . not sure why you’d want it back though, place is LITERALLY a sewer with green blight goop everywhere that I’m almost positive is highly acidic and would melt the flesh from your bones.
The night elves didnt just lose a city; they lost an entire country. Teldressil was so much bigger then darnassus. Within it were held multiple towns, villages, burrow dens. and that’s not counting it’s other inhabitants, who weren’t even involved in the war. An ecosystem abundant with life was obliterated.
I agree that what happened to the forsaken wasn’t a good thing, and their feelings are valid… however the cold fact is, they’re dead - They cant have children, The mystery and risk of living is something they lost. They all had their chance to live, and as sad as it is… their time still ended. The night elves were a living, breathing people with growing families and a zest for life and it’s unknown. And regardless of the innocence of the civilians, they still burned alive. Those that survived have to live with that now. they have to live with seeing the burnt husk that used to support their families and passions. They have to live with being closer to the brink of extinction then they already were. lore-wise, how many do you really think are left? after all the wars they’ve fought, all the ailments they have no immunity to due to the loss of immortality, the low birth-rates. They number close to the high elves, with still dwindling ranks due to the ongoing war.
The forsaken can go back home eventually. the night elves never can.
