For me, it’ll be 12 years this fall. I started right after Wrath of the Lich King came out, and funny enough, it was that South Park episode that inspired me to play! Damn, how time flies. How long have YOU been playing?

I started playing Warcraft II when I was probably 8 or so, over two decades ago.

Almost 2 long and tortures years. Every day I find myself caring less and less about the game and it’s cancerous community.

I started playing during one of the original testing phases.

An old friend of mine had majored in digital animation and I did some music work for his final project to graduate.

He actually went on to work for Blizzard and he got me in to the game. Level cap was 40 at the time.

Since 2.1 or 2.2 I think. Longest I’ve ever unsubbed was the majority of the Year of Garrosh. I was subbed for maybe half of legion and a bit more of this, all in all I’ve been playing like 13 years with maybe 2 years total off. The game is just so damned familiar, I’ve tried other MMOs and though I’ve found one that could possibly tear me away just the fact that I’ll need to relearn essentially everything kind of keeps me tethered to this. The devil you know I guess.
