How long do you think it took for the Horde Champion to pay Bwonsamdi?

During BFA the Speaker of the Horde strikes a verbal handshake deal with Bwonsamdi to personally send an absurd amount of souls(1 Million, I think it was) to Bwonsamdi in exchange for his help with some Blood Troll issues in Nazmir.

my frivolous Sunday Funday question is this: How long do you think it took for the Speaker of The Horde to pay their end of that bargain?

my guess is…right around the end of Dragonflight? cause stuff you kill in the Shadowlands is already dead and doesn’t count, right?

or do you think that bargain is not paid yet?

(assume that each Dungeon and Raid from BFA on was canonically completed once by the Speaker and repeat visits don’t count, neither does going back in time to pre-BFA)

He asked for souls and as Speaker of the Horde and holder of Ear to the Throne I set theoretically infinite souls free. It was never in the contract to personally deliver them.

Probably like a few weeks. Plus considering how many LOA I’ve personally dispatched, I’m pretty sure old Bwombi doesn’t have the means to actually enforce it.

As he is a denizen of Ardenweald, any soul collected by the night fae technically qualifies as a soul sent his way, contract fulfilled by the letter.

You know what…I never considered the idea that the deal did not actually specify HOW the souls were sent to him.

I just always assumed it meant me personally killing stuff like the murder hobo I am.

A million is a lot of dead things, and that has to be things that actually have souls.

Even through the entirety of DF (Shadowlands, of course, never counts) I don’t think our kill count reached a million.

We may be getting close in TWW, just due to the sheer number of Nerubians and Darkfuse there are.

tbf nothing in Bwon’s wording says those souls have to be from beings they have to personally kill

If I remember his followers correctly, doesn’t it require ritual weapons and spells to collect souls for him? :robot::sweat_drops:
