How is Scarab Lord typically handled? Is it remotely attainable for a less social player?

Your average person will not get scarab lord. Its for all the guild leaders and officers abusing their position or the people spending 2k+ irl cash.

Psychosis incoming

If you’re not in a good guild, your chances are already basically 0.

Let me tell you though, as someone who has done the chain before (on a pserver though, grain of salt, little different experience), don’t subject yourself to it. It’s such a tedious painful grind for a title and a mount. It’s worse than the Insane title. The Insane title isn’t timed. Scarab Lord is on a time limit.

For reference though, in 2019 Classic Apes completed the reputation grind in 18 hours and 28 minutes. And then obviously completed their red scepter shard 7 days after the war started (immediately after the next reset) and immediately rang the gong while horde were camping the gong on another layer.

It’s impossible unless you have gold cap and people like you.

You will spend gold cap to pay people to help you do this and you will need full raids so you better have a lot of friends.

It’s literally impossible unless you are GM of a large guild or a streamer.

You can’t GDKP this, which is what you are tying to do. Money can’t buy you everything lil bro.

Put mom’s credit card down and go get your sippy cup.

100% its a group effort and you will need to 100% organize with everyone trying to get it.

Not even kidding; its a mega PvE event with PvP potentially included.

if you cant play / keep up with the schedule and arent part of the “club” you can basically forget farming for it.

additionally there are some time sensitve raid components also.

PVP is 100% going to be required unless you are on a PVE server.

And a LOT of PVP.

I am very aware, but there are two servers; one PvP and one PvE so “potential” i thought was accurate.

I think ive only seen one person riding the mount ever. How many people have actually gotten this? If they got it in OG vanilla its even more impressive

Lots of people got it in 2019 Classic. All the big guilds colluded. A streamer even got his viewers to get him one.

Tons on 2019, but could be very different server to server… was common-ish on Whitemane to see a few around.

u would needa buy alot of gold

here you go, OP.

this will show you the whole process.
all of it. if you watch the previous videos too.

We can say with 100% confidence it’s impossible for you to get.

End of discussion

Dude. Yes.

Did you ever think that’s WHY we are all giving you the same reply?

Because we literally did it 5 years ago and know exactly what it takes.

We know some forum scrub who doesn’t have the guts to talk to someone through a screen has a 0% chance to accomplish any of this.

We opened first week and we got like 12.

Servers that didn’t open for like… 3-4 weeks like Fairbanks and grobbulus got 40-50.

There are a ton of them out there from 2019.

Retail is obviously a lot less… but for a long time there when they would spin up new servers the gates would be closed and ppl would rush to solo the chain themselves on the server.

So quite a few bugs exist on retail that weren’t really OG bugs… but like… 2009-2010 bug mounts that were on a dumb no name server

It’s attainable by whoever the guild chooses for it.

If he’s not in a guild and doesn’t know already if he’s getting or not he can’t get it.

It’s 100% impossible for him to get.

Lemme tell you, as someone that done it back in vanilla when we still had thottbot/teamspeak it was a long process. It came down to how much time and dedication whoever wanted to do it.

Originally I was not going to do it but me and 4 other guys was doing the quest chains/rep grinds for the epic quest rewards. 90% of it done on Azgalor (pvp) was a 40+ guild at the time. Once they announced that 40 mans was going away the guild fell apart during Naxx progress. At that time I transfered to coworkers server since was not raiding no more. Then that server, Shattered Halls, gates was still closed so ended up finishing it there.

So it entailed:

-Rep grind from hated to honored or revered. (Small Party)
-The Chitin Grind (Small Party, server pending)
-Broodlord head (Raid Group)
-Timed BWL for Red Shard (Raid Group)
-Blue dragon kill in Azshara for Blue Shard (Raid Group)
-Green dragon kill in Moonglade (Raid Group)
-The 500 lb chicken quest and Narain quest chains (5 man party)
-War of the Shifting Sands turn-ins completed (Server)

With all of this, its a very time consuming process.

This is OP’s like 5th or 6th post talking about him getting Scarab Lord.

Maybe if he makes a 7th post asking the exact same question, someone will take pity on him and dedicate 40 hours x 20 players to help him get his bug mount.

This is not deciding who gets Thunderfury, or Onslaught Girdle in a Loot Council.

You need to go research the entire process and get to work on figuring out how you are going to get it done. Nobody on the forum is going to give you the an action plan for regular joes because that’s not remotely possible.
