Will try that because I have 3 characters already made.

Good thing if I am bad I will not hurt anyone else’s gameplay since I only solo

Same! I have no idea if I’m doing it right, but it works for me!

Im surprised you even care about rotations then.

It helps in order to do damage. lol

Yeah, but you don’t need to play too maximal if you don’t want to. I often do anyway because I am trying to practice for group content.

Most of the time when I solo, I am just in some old zone and things die in one hit anyway, lol. I heard people have been having trouble with things in old zones since last patch though.

I was hardcore into MMORPGs since before WoW came out.

Now that I am in my 50s I don’t tolerate kids the way I did when I was in my late 30s when WoW launched

It is awkward that basically you only want to do lvl 1 empowered spells and no further but I am enjoying it.

From what I read, I basically gathered that you want to increase the power of the spell depending on the mob size. 1 for 1 mob, 2 for 2 mobs, and 3 for 3 and above mobs.

I think devastation is weird but there are people that inevitably will enjoy it, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I’m glad they are enjoying it, but it’s not my cup of tea.

Devastation honestly doesn’t really feel less complicated than other DPS specs. I did intentionally get every active and rotation changing talent I could, though. I enjoy the Shattering Star + Pyre combo in PvP. Tip the Scales is 100% a must. They have some amazing self-healing. Snapfire is fun. It has about as much going on for me as any of my casters. It’s at least middling for WoW class complexity.

The healing is great. I enjoy Mistweaver a bit more. But, Preservation is probably my second favorite. I enjoy both the Emerald side and the Bronze side of the tree. I do kind of miss the decision making Mistweaver has. Preservation feels very straightforward to me. But, so satisfying in EBGs and that event dungeon.

I’ve had fun with the class moving people around, too. Using Rescue to save someone from a Death Grip or using Swoop Up to do the same to them.

I don’t think it’s the most exciting class. Still enjoy Enhancement DPS and Mistweaver Healing more. But, it’s been fun in pre-patch and I’m looking forward to getting to level 70. Not going to main Evoker. But, it went from ā€œnever going to make oneā€ to being my main alt.
