well I have no problem doing T8 delves in pug groups
but if for some reason I hated delves what I would do is pug the first 2 bosses in a heroic raid weekly.
actually maybe I’ll start doing that. it’s very likely the group will do more than just the first 2 bosses before falling apart
I rerolled tank/heals to get into pugs, but I don’t play that much so my expectations or whatever aren’t that high.

You can run with me and my fam. We run low keys alot as M+ is something I’m new to. We don’t always time them but we usually do complete them. We have hella fun while we’re doing, amd imho that’s what it’s all about.
DPS is absolutely flooded. Learn to play tank and queue as tank. Post your own keys. Tanks posting get their pick of DPS for the same reason you can’t get into anything - there’s a thousand people who want to play DPS for every person willing to tank or heal. Otherwise, you’re going to be complaining about not getting in for a very long time.

I tried to gear without delves and was banded by bLizz0rd.
I got better though and came back.
Set yourself as arms for loot, it should trick the system to only give 2 handers.
Every t8 or higher bountiful delve always gives a champion piece. So that is 4 per day once you unlock T8 and you have to use the coffer keys.
You can get 3 pieces of champion gear from the rep vendors and 3 additional pieces of veteran from the same vendors with resonance crystals. Should have tons by now.
Veteran gear upgrades to like 606 or 609 ilvl? And champion to 619. You can also have 4 of the enchanted crafting quests to get 3 or 4 crafted pieces with ilvl 619.
Mythics give champion and better as you scale up M+. For raiding, Raid finder is veteran, normal is champion, hero and mythic are aligned with diffculty name and right now there are 2 raids.
You also get 1 champ and 3 veteran pieces from the first 4 weekly chests you unlock via 20th annniversary, weekly quests or weekly world quests like theater or hallowfall beacons etc.
Timewalking gives the same gear as heroic dungeons. There are literally so many easy ways to gear right now i dont think it has ever been easier.

Ok all joking aside it’s basicly going to the be the same answer most people are going to give which is basicly just try and push your own key, join a guild that have people that are going to run with you or try and network and make some friends to do stuff with.
I know it can be a pain but trust me it makes the whole thing so much better and you will have a blast doing it if you get the right group to play with, otherwise it’s just put the key up and just take people i’ve had some wild rides doing that.
Edit also not joking about the shield it will take you places might be scary at the start but it grows on you 
I skimmed through the first 80 or comments, and saw that this was actually seeming like an earnest thread, with good intentions. Here’s my pitch for you. Between the holiday event, the weekly quests, and everything else, you shouldn’t even need delves to fly right past 600. Like last week’s TBC timewalking, if you did BT just once fully through, you had a chance at champion loot dropping from every boss, and the two quest rewards were a guaranteed hero and champion piece. Do the six holiday bosses, that’s more possible drops and one quest reward. Do the chromie event, another quest reward.
After like 3 weeks, you should be fully veteran, several champion pieces, and a piece or two possibly of hero gear, and you don’t ever need to go into a single delve to do this. I know, because I do it all the time. I’ve now done some delves, but I rarely do them. Too many alts, not enough time. My bear is like 612 or something, because I blew some gold on a couple of crafted items, and did a few delves, but I’ve still got like over 30 coffer keys on him because I don’t grind those.
There’s so much veteran gear out there, and nearly endless stones, and I doubt you are maxing crests. max your renowns, get 4 619 craft tokens, do the story mode raid end boss, a 5th token. Gear up to that 619ish mark is up to simply how much effort you want to put into getting it.

I have been really busy outside of the game with not much time to log in but after this thread and some reading I have a very clear direction of where to go and what to be doing. Indo appreciate the response. I stopped replying here cause it was getting off track and people seemed to not read as a lot of the replies had already been answered. But it’s clear you took some time to try and be helpful and I appreciate it. I honestly wish there were a lot more people like you on these forums I have a very small amount of patience for this type of stuff. Seems like everyone just instantly wants to trash people and it gets to me quicker than I care to admit.
