People say demon hunter are op, totally not true xD We die like to easily.
I’m anti nerf but unless i get my cute abomination back outside of turning on warmode I say nerf everything
Why is it when something is fun and has a lot of fun abilities people want it to be nerfed into the ground? Is this why every class sucks nowadays, because you all keep crying?
The same way DK avoided nerfs early on: Being a hero class at first.
Lol, who says we have no drawbacks? You need to study up on our downsides and what we can’t do well. Were not “gods” as you describe us, were another class. The only thing that ever came close to what you described was DKs on release. They were GODS AMONGST GODS, they couldn’t be stopped. They had no weaknesses. Then nerfs. Were not that strong, rogues are doing better then us as is mages.
Yep, people cry about every class, people are crying they want more allies when the allies still new to the game, aint that something.
Demon Hunters need buffing if anything, pretty sure I saw one lagging in second place on the healer charts yesterday.

They don’t want to nerf fun they just want some semblance of balance. Demon Hunters have almost no weaknesses unlike other specs. It’s not their damage alone.
They have a brain dead rotation that can’t be messed up which means in harder content it’s easier to deal with mechanics.
They have incredible mobility which is hugely important for almost all content. Whether it’s Lead Foot in Visions, getting out of Corruption effects or just getting to areas other classes can’t.
They bring solid group utility. Chaos Brand, Darkness, a Dispel and one of only 2 CC’s that don’t put you into combat.
And they have great self healing.
It’s too much.

There are several other classes that are brain dead easy at this point though.

What’s the weakness of a Paladin, Warrior, monk?
In pvp they can be kited easily via roots. They have no significant burst healing on single target. They also cant heal unless they’re hitting something. They are cooldown reliant (not really a drawback anymore because of traits).
Those are the few things I can think of off the top of my head.

Because DH dont need a nerf we arent OP, we are just good overall on the board, other classes still can outperform us in each aspect of the game.
Instead of whining about DH not having a nerf ask Blizzard to balance other classes better.

Demo is the only decent sustained aoe lock spec and the lock pet spec has the worst pet flexibility. Not using a felguard kills dps.
So yes destro and aff can but they suck at aoe outside of dumb burst on 3 minute CDs.
Locks don’t have talent flexibility. Shadowlands looks to be more of the same too.
Thats why locks are not a very good pick for pushing keys. Especially compared to a demo hunter.

Because DH is a faceroll grandma spec that while amazing at everything, is not actually the best at any one element of the game and thus will rarely get taken in MDIs and world-firsting things unless some mechanic or comp necessitates it. A mediocre player can do amazing things on them without skill or effort, making other mediocre players mad and good players that play bad specs jelly. That’s why it doesn’t get nerfed.
The absolute best players on their best spec in the best possible gear in an ideal comp with other people as good as they are can outperform a competent DH. That’s a big ask for Joe Casual the Retnoob in his +12 AD but it’s not for Jimmy Nolife the Unholy DK and Clarissa Skipsitall the Rogue at the MDI. WoW is an Esport now in name and ‘design theory’ so it’s what we’ve gotta live with. Garen dunks scrubs all day everyday in Silver games but you won’t see him picked in high level matches in League and it’s the same thing.

I got nerfed and changed to BM. It’s great.
BM hunters have an easy rotation and good DPS. The spec is so easy that you could play BM while having a BM. I recommend it!
I would like this guy to be powerful as a marksmanship hunter again, though. The complexity was fun and I miss it.
The heck is with all of the DH hate lately?
If anything needed a nerf it’d be fire mages and BM hunters.
Seeing as the overwhelming majority of them are bad, though, even they are fine as they are.
