I suppose, BUT what about mounts? Do you have every possible mount? What about every possible pet? There is more that can be done that’s not accounted for by achievements, that site has a scoring system for things that can be collected

Ranks players based on a weighted score of completed content. 100 points for mounts, leveled pets, toys, titles, and exalted reputations. 10 points for recipes and quests. 3 points per achievement point. 1 point for appearances. Weights are subject to change.

and the guy with the most achievements is “only” rank 31 in the world for Completion Score

The #1 mount collector is #1,629 for pet score

The #1 pet score person is rank 13k for toy collection

and so on. Everyone has their thing they do but it’s tough to get high ranks in every category.

I’ve been playing for over 10 years and I only have 15k. Don’t feel too bad.

On the other hand I also don’t actively try to get achievements. Last expansion I worked for Cutting Edge and got it, but taking a chill break this one.

it really depends on effort, if you don’t go achievement hunting sure it might be hard.

I was excited about them before I lost my old account.

They still make a lip curl up a bit when I see it flash on the screen though, so thats nice.

if you need some inspiration, there’s a thread in the achievement forum which encourages achievement hunters.

it looks like it may have fizzled out a bit since the start of the expansion, but usually ramps up a bit during content lulls.

if i were you, i’d just start at the start.

open quests tab, see what’s incomplete.
by doing quests, you’ll get appearances.
by getting appearances, you’ll get more acheivements.

each zone will give achievements
then you’ll get credit for the continent achievements
and loremaster follows on.

you’re close to “To All The Squirrels I’ve Loved Before”, only 6 more critters needed!

This thread reminded me that it’s been a while since I’ve actively looked for achievements to complete. I guess every time I log in lately I’ve had other goals in mind, which isn’t that bad of a thing.

It only took me 12 years to get to 20k, so you can do it too!

This is easy follow this. Go through the sections and farm them until they are all finished. Start easy, go with Exploration, Quests, Collections, Reputation, and old Dungeon/Raids first. Those alone if you do almost all of them should get you pretty close.

Im at 18k and I havent even been trying on my US account. I really should knock out some easy ones.

I have been playing since 2005 hard core back in the day, and now casual AF… and I only have almost 18k… that being said I don’t “chase” them, never have.

so yea… if you don’t work at it… a long a** time lol

You get a stacking amount of achievement points for chains like number of kills in PVP so that can help. I forget how many I have guess Ill know once I post this.

I always enjoyed just taking a break from the normal game and find achievements to do. At the end of BFA I was doing a bunch of archeology on an alt. Fun time waster.

Sounds about right. IIRC it’s also the patch when they made mounts and pets a collection instead of an actual item. I remember I spent a couple hours running around the world buying pets & mounts. I had all the money, and reputations I needed to get the Albino Drake for the mounts achievement. I just didn’t have the bank space to stockpile them beforehand. :smiley_cat:
