How engaging is ele?

My take on the conversation.

Now I will agree that Blizz has dumbed down majority of classes/specs and while very few have a relatively difficult skill ceiling; the current 2 ele shaman dps specs are the most complex.

The ER/SE/SoP/SK build is complex enough that most of the info sites still think that you would need an addon to fully optimize the dps potential.

And the top ele dps build for raid only has you managing the following:

Fire ele CD
SK CD
Icefury CD
FS uptime and on up to 3 targets at all times to maximize dps.
Not sitting on 2 charges of LvB
Weaving LvB in between SK LBs to maximize burst.
Weaving FS and ES after LvB to maximize MotE buff.
Maintaining TM uptime
Dropping Earth ele on CD
Let’s throw on use trinkets in there for giggles.

In the current edition of wow. This is pretty complex compared to the sheer number of press what lights up or keep everything on CD and spam these 2 buttons regardless of the order
