Me, personally, I just pick and choose when I want to go for the pricey enchants/gems. I cheap out wherever possible.
Gear that’s not the absolute BiS? I get the green “perfect” gems and cheaper enchants. They’re like 80% of the best stuff for significantly lower costs.
