I haven’t done a single BfA M+ or raid on my paladin (apart from one LFR run where I got no loot anyway) and she is 385 with a total of 3 days played at level 120.
It’s really easy to gear doing casual things now. Conquest cap if you PVP, keep up with the warfront, assaults, emissaries, etc.
Though I haven’t been doing M+ in BfA, I did a lot of it in Legion. At the very least you can make your own group to get a key and then run the key. Listing a group and picking people is actually very simple. I never even used raider io to make my groups either, and I rarely ran into issues even in higher keys (you will get the occasional botched run regardless of using external sites and rankings to make groups).
