That’s my guess but it’s only a guess. Next question, if it is, who will kill him first, Team Liquid or Team Echo?
I reckon they’re going to pull the “We must rebuild the last Titan” line out. Back from Pandaria.
I think they’re going to recontextualize that entire plot thread. Azeroth’s World Soul is being harnessed by the Titans to build a new Titan we have yet to see, giving us the big conspiracy that was eluded to at the last Blizzcon… And that is why we get the name: “The Last Titan”

They said, way back when that Sargeras would be the final boss of WoW. So, by hook or by crook, he’ll be the final boss.
Or the second last, with Aman’Thul taking the honour. Verdict is out for the others if they’ll be fought at all.
After that… well, Azeroth awakens.
Then what?
It’ll also be their best opportunity to do a proper WoW 2… so I could see them trying to actually start anew and dump all the spaghetti code.

If they’ve already made plans for expansions after the World Soul saga, and they’ve been updating the game graphically and the engine and stuff, too. It seems highly unlikely that they’re going to completely restart from scratch.
I don’t think is a viable theory at all anymore, there is just too much evidence to the contrary.
A long time ago there was a police comedy called Sledge Hammer, about an utterly incompetent detective named, well, Sledge Hammer. They weren’t expecting to be renewed for a second season, so their season ender had Sledge attempting to disarm a nuke, and failing. Kaboom.
But they were renewed. And so, instead of resolving the cliffhanger, Season Two’s first episode’s title card said, “Five years earlier…”
I don’t think Worldsoul will end that way, but it would be hilarious if it did.

Now you are bringing back memories. I remember watching that show when it was live. Other greats too like Magnum PI, MoonLighting, and even Remington Steele.

We fail. Azeroth is enveloped in corruption and nears shattering open. As a last resort, we re-originate the world, putting Azeroth back to sleep and resetting the world.
A WoW reboot is announced continuing the story into a new cycle with an all-new timeline.
(I don’t actually think this will be the ending, but it’s a path that’s been rattling around in the back of my imagination for a few expansions)
We’ll see the depths of the Titan’s madness, we’ll find out just what Azeroth is (hoping she takes on a huge mother dragon appearance when she wakes up as so sick of all these powerful beings being human shaped), We’ll find out just what in the world Xal’atath truly is and who knows maybe she’ll go from scary elf woman to trapped in the body of a vulpera and forced to be adorable. The planet Azeroth may be sundered but stitched back together, world having seen some wild stuff during this war of sorts but we all emerge stronger from it right before a light vs Void war breaks out and our unity is challenged as we’re forced to side with one side over the other and the war in warcraft returns to the game
We’ll get to the end and Ve’nari will be the final raid boss. Surprise!
And then they kiss? 
At the end of the world soul trilogy they’ll be a cutscene where low Rez Vanilla model Thrall and Jaina are sleeping in bed, Thrall wakes Jaina up and says. “You won’t believe the dream I just had”.
