im sure im awful somewhere and i can see how unholy would be great with lichborne/death coil macro(since deathcoil im assuming does higher healing numbers with it being a high dmg skill for unholy) but what do you do with frost dk, just spam death strike, pot, and use the ghoul sacrifice? im new to it so im feeling like unholy is the play until i understand frost dk better, id use the death pact one but i heard thats not a good idea
(this is not a “frost dk bad” post, im genuinely not understanding where most of my healing comes from, i see the kit is heavily based around defensiveness)
You press chains and walk away until you have dmg again (unironically).

Well you pair up with someone else in 2v2
There’s a dk named petkick that’s does pretty well in 2s
What ever is above that do it
Oh yeah well hmm
Like I said pair up with peeps like people that have lots of heals
you need to be more versatile your to hasty.
Looked at the top 10 in 2s:
- Be Riders for mobility
- Heavy vers > Mastery = Haste
- You get heaps of control as a DK (Strangulate/Asphyxiate/Blinding Sleet/Absolute Zero) and heaps of defensives.
- PvP talent Deaths Cold Embrace and Strangulate are lock ins but swap to Death Chill for highly mobile targets, Spellwarden for heavy magic comps and Bloodforged armor for heavy physical comps)
- Your goal will be to be as aggressive as you can due to the amount of CCs you get. You’re rely on a mix of high vers + your defensives to live.
You don’t.
Frost is not in a good spot in PvP, as I hear from a lot of PvP DKs in the class forums.
On my frost DK I just do an an hero bomb in epic BGs where I leap in to the enemy raid and pop all of my damage and defensive CDs and that PvP remorseless winter talent that makes you walk slow but deal a zillion damage. Usually die but also wins us the fight usually too while staying #1 on damage. I know that doesn’t really answer the question, but it’s the most fun way to frost PvP.
