as someone with a fairly complicated by an extremely weird order of consonants last name, I can attest that this isn’t always true.

That… would likely depend a great deal on the culture pronouncing it.
English native speakers would probably pronounce is Dawes-ene. Almost like Dowsing but without the stress on the G.
French native speakers would probably pronounce is Dos-ogne with the G implied but not directly pronounced, same with the e on the end so that more emphasis is on the N. French is funny in that they like to put vowels on the end of their words for the express purpose of not pronouncing them, and only implying with the barest of inflection that they exist.
This concludes Grymauch’s knowledge of linguistics which are probably wrong, but sound neat and fancy and should be discussed in a parlor room with a gentle fire, a pipe and a smoking jacket. Bring your own monocle and waxed mustache. Oh and something fancy sounding to drink, like Cognac or something Grymauch knows nothing about alcohol.
That’s nobody’s business but the French.
You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably human. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not.
Nah, I’m never calling that boss the Architect. Li-hu-vim or Lithium if you’re trolling works just fine.
I pronounce it Dahw-sen, but my raid just calls her da sausage lol. Just like we used to call the guy from stone legion generals greg
de-sausage
I would be surprised if it it’s pronounced Dawson, after some blizz employee
dow-seg-knee
It’s an anagram for Sylvanas who is the super secret boss in the new raid.
RIP sausage and louie for having awful names.
Dow Sen. At least thats how it looks to me.
Da—sawn—ya
Oh I like the dudes creek?
I would pronounce it DOW SANE. More or less.
de-sausage.
daw-sayne, or with more inflection, daw-say-ene (but quickly, the last two are practically one syllable, just with a quick “een” like sheen or queen)
kinda like halfway between daw-sane and daw-seen
business
Sounds about right.
My guess is it’s pronounced like Doh-son.
Ours is similar with the exception of the jailer
