My only long term goal is to have fun. If I get bored I quit. That’s what happened when I played BfA. I have a holy priest and hunter that I’ve been leveling together. The hunter farms cloth and herbs to make pots for my priest. If I had to farm cloth with my priest and farm gold to buy pots for my priest I’d get burnt out and bored, for a short time, then I’d quit.
The hunter and priest are both 55. Getting to 60 was never a goal though having fun playing the game means I’ll soon get to 60. I rarely PvP because I don’t have fun doing it. I’d never set up a goal to get a certain PvP rank and force myself to do things that aren’t fun to get that rank. I was farming felcloth on my hunter to send to my priest to make mooncloth every 4 days. Just to make a bit of gold. Until I began to get a little bored. Then I decided I had enough gold and stopped farming felcloth
I never get burnt out or bored because I never do things that bore me or cause me to get burnt out.
