How do you meet people in WoW?

Made a few friends in-game that I’ve met in person because of mutual shared interests outside of WoW. Never done a “love connection” type of meeting though. At the time I was in the military stationed overseas and playing in an Oceanic server, ppl outside the US are different. None of my WoW friends are American, I feel Americans are too paranoid to meet in person tbh.

Atleast Australian peeps are generally pretty willing to meet. Just found two people in my city recently.

Definitely needs a build-up tho, you’d want to see how they look like in an online picture first rather than fully out of the blue.
