Yeah I had that fantasy too OP when I was younger but now I think it’s silly. Even at 34 I have one other guy friend that plays WoW. Was never really able to be that “person” that knows a bunch of irl friends that play or somehow met their SO on wow. Who knows 
I’ve been finding meeting people irl is way better. Yeah it sounds nice to have that shared passion but the chances of it happening are so astronomically low I don’t even think about it anymore.
Also it’s really weird but I found I never really connected with chicks that play wow. Like I’d try so hard to relate to people but I find I connect way better with people that don’t play video games. A lot of people are really petty and immature in WoW and that obviously goes without saying both men and women not one specifically.
