The post you responded to wasn’t dismissive. He disagreed with your advice and gave his reasonings for why he felt that way. I’ll admit as someone who only just now entered the discussion you seem more like the bad-faith participant in this discussion. Regardless of your M+ experience you did not handle disagreement in a mature fashion. Maybe there’s more to the story that I didn’t see. I don’t know. But this isn’t the way to change hearts and minds. Stop behaving like a child.
I know you wasn’t because honestly I doubt you can. Trying to dismiss me is your only option to save face. You got a bad opinion and I called it out with clear and concise facts and logic.
Maybe try using the “I know you are but what am I” line next time. Maybe it’ll work (it wont).
Where did I say they need to go to Warcraft logs to learn MDI strats? For starters, I’m pretty confident those aren’t even logged. Also, OP is asking about their damage, not routes or strats. Your “argument” as a counter point to my advice had nothing to do with the topic of their dps and everything to do with a rant about bad players trying bold strategies.

Sorry that so many people that run keys in your skill range of KSM are so obsessed with the MDI, but it has nothing to do with my advice or the OP’s intentions.

Reroll to one of the OP specs. Destro warlock and Surv hunter are both stupidly overpowered right now.
You make a great point about the demands on attention sifting through information from Hekilli. I hadn’t thought of it that way.
I just wish it weren’t so time-consuming to make a setup that surfaces the important information. I’ve never liked action bar based HUDs. Most of the class auras I’ve tried from Wago are massive overkill and have the same issues with unnecessary information.

a lot of dps boosts are not intuitive.
Ovale is not perfect, but it should help, especially with rogues.
This game is P2W as well so if you really wanted to you could just buy WoW tokens and pay for carries to get the gear you need lol
