In other words, you received a massive and inflated infusion of capital that set you on a good course for “you have to have money to make money.”

spot on. never been easier for legitimate players to bank gold easily. professions are booming. spending an hour doing professions should easily net you 100g or more.

the economy matches the server its on, Crusdaer strike is comepletely different than the other servers. If every item is 20gold, there is a method to making enough gold to buy that 20g item.

What economy? Gold is just appearing out of nowhere with incursions being farmed, and there are thousands of bots constantly generating gold.

On lonewolf there are legit teams of 5 man hunters with almost identical names running around spamming incursions.

its only active between august 20th and march 30/31st were in the off season rn, But nightfin soup is still pretty good.

Because it’s now very lucrative to sell the mats for the quests. Took the bots and multi-boxers no time to figure that one out.

people who dont have gold, dont want to make gold.

i made 700g yesterday selling DMF cards i farmed by doing tons of offering runs and using the 10x offerings to buy the card bag from the vendor.

I also made hundreds of gold selling the Flask of Nightmarish Mojo people need to get their shoulders enchants. I was buyign the mats for 50g and selling for 120g almost instantly, eventually others started doin same so large easy profit is gone.

I’ve also been selling 2x Moon cloth per CD from my 2 tailors and it was easy profit on those like 40g profit each.

I also made decent gold from incursions/quests early on.

It’s actually insanely easy to make gold IF YOU TRY TO MAKE GOLD.

Seems like your whole life is making gold.

I don’t play enough, and borderline burnt out, want to only pvp, run an occasional dungeon, and raid…and using a credit card to solve the problem is heavily frowned upon.

Then I give stuff away versus selling. Feels good to make peeps happy.

Plus I tend to have bad run ins with death rolls.

I don’t complain though - it is what it is loooool.

We just need every single Rogue to go camp Mages who try to AOE farm. You don’t even need to kill them, you just need to Cheap Shot them when they pull 15 mobs, they will reset and be screwed.

Pvp being a gold maker, retail has been wanting that for almost 20 years. I have a funny feeling we will not be any luckier. But its a nice dream.

I looted 2-3k gold in AV grinding to R10 in Classic 2019. AV mobs had regular drop tables and anyone could loot them (fastest wins) so I went with the pack & spamlooted every corpse. I looted cloudkeeper legplates, hand of edward the odd, recipe to transmute undeath to water, among other junk.
I looted some boe blues during SoD P1 Ashenvale event also, same story, regular elite loot & fastest clicker wins.
Hopefully they release AV with regular loot table NPC’s again so I can make some gold while grinding honor.

That’s probably not what those people meant though when they want PvP to be a gold maker, and I somewhat agree, just thought I’d share my story.
