Sorry to read about the frustration. One option - if you have a high level toon and gold - is to purchase heirloom weapons. They are slightly below dungeon blues but level-up with your character.
You can get them in Ironforge on the alliance side. The vendors name is Krom (Awesome Conan reference) Stoutarm in the Hall of Explorers.
