How do you feel about Ion Hazzicostas?

Seems like a genuine guy who really likes WoW but for some reason is just horribly out of touch with what the community wants.

“Get off my planet. Begone. Vanish.”
I’d say that to him, if that helps at all.

Edit; the amount of support he’s getting in this thread, when I never see it in any other thread, is either bad trolling, or butt-kissery that makes me wonder if I missed something.

Based on all of the bad decisions Blizzard corporate have been making…

…I’ll take “Scapegoat Mouthpiece” for 500.

Yes its OUR fault for wanting Blizzard to actually give the players something we asked for in the exact manner that we asked for without the development team twisting it around into the worst possible incarnation because THEY think its better that way

Ion is that you?

No, the community treats it like politics, so they get a politician. I never said I agreed with the dude, this is just a direct result.

I have to ask, do you prefer this or the EA “ignore everything and do it anyway because the less attachment we have to our playerbase the less consequences” mentality?

No I don’t think it does help.

It’s not a very nice thing to say after all. I’d just say thank you. Hopefully that would help. He certainly doesn’t deserve hate for making a video game.

Ion’s the fall guy.

Oh yes because Blizzard clearly listened to us by admitting Diablo Mobile was a mistake and decided to scrap it based on the response

Blizzard is ignoring anything that doesnt fit their position

Another case in point Project Titan rather than give players a chance at it oh no THEY threw away all the progress they made on it and simply decided internally it wasnt going to work before even taking a chance on letting people test it

All I’m saying is someone like Ion is the only way to handle the community because stability is very important where from a developer perspective everyone hates everything you do anyway. That’s probably why he trusts statistics.

Titan was aimed to be another mmo, and before I can proceed to argue more against this I must ask if you’d prefer WoW or that.

Anyways, Overwatch was a massive success despite imo the balance going complete nuts in the second/third season on. It seems they have the right mindset in that scenario.

It helps the game

Is this a buffalo bill parody you’re doing?

It helps the game or it gets the negative social interaction again?

Nah just helps the game if he were to simply disappear

You have no way of knowing what kind of person would take his place.

A pine cone would be an improvement

I get that you’re joking, but that doesn’t help the argument.

Not joking

Then your argument doesn’t hold very much weight if you can’t go beyond insulting people.

Didn’t insult him. Simply wish he would disappear so we could get someone/something better to steer the ship.

And my counter to that is, you have no way of knowing whether who comes next is better or worse.

edit: why is the forums doing this delete quote thing to my posts.
