Hello guys. I am curious about how the heck you get chromie time to unlock cata time walking for 80 thru 85 content. throne of tides and stone core for example. I click chromie time cataclysm, but all i get is the vanilla cataclysm revamp content stuff, like wailing caverns and shadowfang keep for example. If anyone knows how to make it so chromie time sends you to cataclysm and the 80-85 dungeons knows how to unlock this, please let me know. i cannot find any info on this process anywhere on the web. Thanks.
I am not too sure, but I think it maybe for the full Cata zones (80-85 previous), might have to be level 30 minimum as well for the dungeons.
From what I’ve read here on the forums you don’t unlock “cata zones” (which I assume includes the dungeons) until you get to 30/35
Hmm, on the toon i am trying to unlock those 80 - 85 zones and cata dungeons on, he is level 30. I just cannot see how to unlock them. I can’t find the info anywhere lol.
Thank you for the response. I am level 30 on the toon in question. The toon who is trying to get into timewalking cataclysm. But it litteraly is only showing wailing caverns, deadmines, blackrock depths, shadowfang keep, gnomergan etc. I swear the chromie timewalking option for throne of tides, stone core, vortex pinnacle, etc does not exist lol.
If you select the Cataclysm timeline from Chromie and are level 30, there should be two separate dungeon queues open for you. One is for the revamped Vanilla dungeons. The other is for the old 80-85 Catclysm dungeons.
They unlock at lvl 31, actually

Yah i am not seeing it. Hold up. I am in the process of sending a ticket, but there is a known issue. “Chromie time npc doesn’t offer chromie time feature”. So im going to check that out to see what that “feature” is lol. It might be the one i am complaining about.
Edit: So it seems it is a bfa thing for new players. Lord only knows.

You’re in luck! I have a level 35, I’ll head to Org and switch to Cata and see if it opens later
You shouldn’t need too. I haven’t touched a single Cata zone and my lvl 32 can queue for any of the those dungeons
My level 35 has this, didn’t quest in any of the zones

You have to pick Cataclysm in Chromie Time to get those. Cataclysm includes the vanilla zone revamp and the zones added to the expansion + all the dungeons that you would normally have done from 1 to 60.
I cant get over how confusing this is lol. Im testing something on my shaman. Maybe if i turn in that intro quest you get from chromie, they might appear. I just grabbed the quest “call of duty” which was the original quest that started the vashjyr quest chain. We will see if it works.
Nothing is happening. I did the quest chromie gave me when i selected cataclysm, went to the command board, selected mount hyjal, one of the few available, now i am questing in hyjal and still no sign of the 80 thru 85 cataclysm end game zones and their respective dungeons are appearing anywhere in the que list. So annoying.

My toon in question is level 30 on the dot. So do i have to quest in vashjyr a bit, for example, in order to get the chromie time drop down dungeon que menu for throne of tides and vortex pinnacle etc? Do i have to level up a few levels first? I cannot figure this out.
Also if it matters, he is lvl 30 with his ep turned off. Do not know if that matters or not, just figured i would mention it.

Ok I will try this out. Thank you. This is definitely something that needs a rework though, because it doesn’t make any sense. I am not the only one with the problem either. I have seen others with the problem on the forums but could not see if the problems were solved, or if the case was still on going.
Thanks for the help everyone. I feel you should just hit lvl 30, choose cata chromie time, both dungeon drop down menus should appear, and that should be it. Every website has some sketchy wording of how cataclysm works to say the least. Will update if this works. Again, thanks to everyone helping me out.
