How do you choose your characters titles?

I don’t know. I just look at the and see what fits my toon’s name/theme/etc.

Pretty much this. “Ironbane” just sounds fitting for a giant moose that dual wields enormous axes. It just tickles me in a happy place.

Sometimes I use the title from mythic Garry because it was the only time I put some serious effort into raiding (mind numbing amounts of wipes and zero progress progression nights)

Otherwise I sometimes just use no title as it’s more unique than having a title these days :stuck_out_tongue:

Inquisitor from drustvar is pretty cool though. Probably one of my favourites even if it is common/easy

Most of the characters I play with serious intent get ‘Herald of the Titans.’ Been wearing it at least on one character since Wrath. I don’t remember any title after that.

That said, other characters get a selection of my favourite titles, but the above is what I default to.

For Airc, Crusader is definitely a Paladin title, even if others can use it. So I use that.

My Rogue doesn’t use a title at all, because I feel that would be most fitting.

My Warrior currently uses “the Butcher” title.

My Druid, “the Dreamer” title.

I’m not going through the list of all my alts, but each uses a title that I feel fits for them, it doesn’t have to be rare or unique, though.

I usually go for alliteration or some sort of pun.

I forget titles are even a thing most of the time…

I go by the lore of the character for titles, but ya EQ has the prefix and suffix titles can choose one of the two or two of them plus you get a last name in that game as well. Surprised they don’t have it here.

I generally go with a theme for character armor and class/spec. How does this character feel and what title matches that theme.

Pretty much this.

Though I got a soft spot for titles that just sound cool. I find myself defaulting to “of the Black Harvest” on my Warlock and “the Insane” on my alts even though they’re not necessarily super rare or hard to obtain.

Half the time I forget about titles completely

meh the second part of my toons name is a nickname that stuck over the way I look… so, I decided as a former christian with a reasonable grudge against organized religion to run with that theme… so the Hallowed, but for BfA and the whole tree Lumberjack seemed more appropriate. But I try to make light of the name … so on my DK I carried two Broken Promise swords (that made a cross on my back) and thier name was perfect… I like themes… thats how i pick them >.>

I am currently working on “Seeker of Knowledge” which will be my prime title on this character from then on.
