I mean my buddy makes it work sometimes when we’re messing around in 3s, but it’s still the worse tree I feel. Maybe the atonement buff makes it more viable than in the past.
Well done, then. I played VW Disc to 2100 before throwing in the towel, but didn’t take fade pvp talent over instant radiance. Do you even play radiance at all for when you’re kicked or just not take it? I could see fade being mandatory though; I played trinity, 10% spell power and atonement and instant radiance.
VW is loads of fun, but just felt like you couldn’t recover from a long cc chain, which started happening a lot more frequently 2k+.
it’s terrible and i wish blizz would bring back pvp talents akin to what we had in legion, but perhaps not as many.
it just felt nicer. having 8+ talent choices, but only 3 slots is horrible feeling. there’s a lot of fun talents you simply won’t get to play due to what you’re required.
Yes, absolutely should be baked into the talent tree.
I’d kill for Burrow to be a normal talent choice or baked into the class, and not a pvp talent. That ability has saved me a ton of times and I can’t imagine playing without it now.
I’d prefer them to do Conflict and Strife again by giving your most important PvP talent as a guaranteed 4th slot in PvP combat and War Mode.
We had a lot less buttons and talents in general back in Legion when we had 6 rows for PvP talents, doing the grid system again would create an unbelievably large power spike for some specs and leave others behind.
I could definitely see my Holy Priest becoming way more powerful than my Feral Druid.
Soul rip is fine and can suprisingly kill double melee. Other two needs to be removed and replaced by something better. Obvilion needs to be integrated into drain soul.
The only flexible Talent points are in pain and suffering but it yields the most throughput if you’re playing optimally, not to mention the nodes it’s competing against are pretty awful. It’s absolutely mandatory vs anything with a pet/summons.
It is a lot harder to pilot overall compared to oracle but I personally think it’s stronger.
I did make a custom weakaura to notify me if my shadow word:pain falls off or is dispelled for my target of target (that still doesn’t work 100% of the time) but it’s been very valuable. (Also a separate keybind to apply it directly when I’m targeting party1 or 2)
Voidweaver doesnt typically play it yeah, especially if you have haste. Unfortunately that spec can very easily go sideways if there’s a little too much CC or LOS going on on. I feel like not running radiance for oracle is maybe doable, but you can make plenty of weird decisions on core talents if you try hard enough. I don’t think it’s better to not play Ult radiance as oracle though. Like imo you’re losing more than you gain in most situations.
