How do people tolerare dragonflight?

I don’t think that’s lag in the normal sense of the word. I think its a straight up BUG. Its been around a long long time, intermittent, difficult to repeat things are often the hardest bugs to squash too. I have fiber, and a 12900k/3070ti pair with 64gb of ram. Zero lag, but this bug was annoying me yesterday like it was on a mission.

Stutters, if you’re having them, may be more related to some mismatch in video card / monitor freq. I’ve never experienced them so I’m not sure how to help with that.

well there not really stutters like hardware based. its like a combination of what appears to be lag based stuttering. idk i think it mostly went away. maybe it was drivers.

u should go get all the glyphs first. you can do it as soon as you unlock flying and then I don’t think you have to do it at all on your alts.

You should definitely get all the glyphs first and fill out the riding talent tree, it makes a world of difference.

Also, when you get it filled out, the easiest way to get somewhere is to point your camera up while Skyward Ascending, so that your dragon is glowing blue. You will gain more height, speed and regen vigor.

Get as high as you want, tilt your dragon down just a tad to gain thrill of the skies, which will also gain vigor.

As far as the lag, are you using addons? If so, are they updated? I know that some can cause lag if they’re outdated.

When I started playing WoW back in the day, I’m pretty sure it said World of Warcraft on the box. Not Spyro the Dragon. I understand people not wanting some gimmick from a different type of game to deal with.

I like it way better than regular flying. But I came here from Guild Wars 2, where WOW got the idea from, so I’m used to it.

I would like it more if i could use my other mounts. Im still not sure why its not a thing.

Aye, it’s like they smushed the Skyscale and the Griffon together, and I love it. Only downside is that when I play GW2 now I keep trying to point down to dive, and I can’t. Griffon gets a button to do so, but Skyscale just slowly flaps down.

I hope they steal more, too. I would love the ability to call my mount in mid air, for instance. Or, and this is less likely due to things like Ascent, being able to swoop up after a dive like the Griffon can.

Aye, and I wish they’d do away with the trinity in dungeons, too, even if just the non-heroic ones.

GW2 survives just fine with no tank/healer/dps trinity in dungeons,
and IMO it’s much more fun, you have to actively use CC, strategize,
it’s fun

I mean, yes and no. GW2 definitely has more healer type specs. I main Scourge, and I had a brief stint as a Druid healer in a raid. Outside of raids and strikes though you’re right; it’s pretty play what you like. I like Scourge because I can go to all the world events and make my group unkillable. I can res and buff the people who want to do all the damage.

To the topic of the thread. I am sorry you dislike dragonriding, OP. I do hope they add slow flying for the people who want it, and just let people choose. GW2 does perfectly fine with two types of flying mounts. I am sure WoW could manage too.

The thing that boggles my mind is how people enjoy m+ over and over every season same thing… for temporary “best in slot”. To each his own I know!

Well, for one I don’t start a sentence with “like”

And two, it’s fun, it’s easy and I am not a, like, a wannabe edgy poster, You are basically rehashing your past posts for, like, what? Like, attention?

At least use, like, punctuation.

One day at a time, while making things up,excuse me while I take my dracthyr on a long fell. Die Dramatically!

Honest answer. Because I enjoy playing my character and taking on a challenge that can match my ability or that I have to push myself to defeat. The gear is a means to an end for me and has been for years.

I Love, love, love, lovelovelove Dragonriding :dracthyr_nod:

Now if I go to other xpacs to farm old raids or something, the flying feels sooooo slow and excruciating lol. If (when!) they add Dragonriding to other zones, I will never fly any other way lol.

I honestly can’t wrap my head around people being so annoyed at having to press buttons in an video game. And the animations for the spin and the swoop are just so much fun. I hope they add more. Like 2 vigor to do a fun loop-de-loop would be awesome. It’d also be nice if they added a hover option, so maybe when we run out of vigor instead of falling we can hover until we get it back.

And I just love zooming to the next quest area and hitting the button to slow land and just touch down perfect right next to the NPC. :ok_hand:

I’ve done all the races and quite enjoy trying to get gold on all of them. I wish they had more races against other players and I cannot WAIT for the Kalimdor Cup.

Get’s on Netherdrake and flies away

Good answer. I respect it

Meh, it’s ok once you get all the glyphs, and tree opened up. Tbh it is the one bright spot in this expansion imo. In that you are able to fly right off from the start. Not much else is good in this expansion imo. Currencyflight is what it should have been called lol. Do miss being able to use my other flying mounts now though.

The only button you should be using is Skyward Ascent (which should be default space bar). Point yourself straight up, hit Skyward Ascent, then level yourself and point slightly down. You’ll keep your vigor regen up that way and you won’t be wasting vigor.

You also need to get all of the glyphs.

I haven’t run into any lag, so I’m not sure.
