How do people have so insanely much gold?

And what about a T7 GDKP?

Don’t know, don’t care. Not doing your research for you, but I’m sure whatever are being done is cheaper than Ulduar because it’s older content.

Hmm… it sounds like you have hand picked a handful of extreme example and tried to present them as the norm.

a screenshot of a pot is not “crazy junk”. Varith has seen it. And I believe it. Last week I saw a post on reddit with 900k gold pot.
I had a guildie run Ulduar 25 gdkp last week because he couldn’t attend raid night, and their pot was 270k.

So yeah, it is pretty much an average player experience.

Then you should easily be able to duplicate it

Unless you are below average.

How would I replicate it?
Week1-2 rush is over.

To replicate it I need to have same high-demand drops (aka godly RNG) and a ton of loaded & skilled players.

And here, 2 second google search on “Ulduar GKDP reddit” and first thing that comes up is half a mil pot. Plus a comment of 700k and 250k.
https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/10hthfy/ulduar_25m_pot_was_high/

But that it was only for a week or two already disproves it is a consistent situation.

If you want to be intentionally dense, so be it.
This is a norm for all early rushes.

You clearly hate this game. IDK why you still here then. All your posts are how much you hate the game. You’re bloomsday 2.0

Sounds like it’s best for you to find another game to sink time into You clearly got a lot of big issues with today’s state of the game. No idea why you torturing yourself then.

The prices of everything spike initially and then decrease.

Look how much runed orbs have decreased…

Yes, happens every time. It’s the norm. This is the average experience Varith was talking about.

Facts lol 10 chars

Right that’s the point the huge payouts are very far from the average experience.

Simple. They’re skinning/herb

Also this game is mostly a snapshot of 13 year or so years ago.

Player X has returned. this time remembering how they learned to make gold in 2008, and reapplying it in 2023. this time without the mistakes of their first run.

Some wrath players are doing their business smarter in round 2. gem X…never took off in wrath the first time. snapshotted game…it’s not taking off now either. Ergo they don’t burn time on dead items twice.

Here is how 50K profit (net) happens for some in wow wrath 2023. they didn’t make the mistakes that cost 40K from round 1. those mistakes made that 10K net.

The tl;dr, Less loss from bad business calls learned from before is more profit now.

Yea exactly. Those half mil pot threads get traction exactly because theyre such outliers. If it was an every day occurance noone would care.

i had over 100k exiting TBC. In 2008.

I borrowed gold from my brother for the flying mount and did my dailies daily to pay him back. when i did pay him back … i still did my dailies daily.

On my server i noticed certain things skyrocket in price, so every night i buy out a ton of each item and wait until im about to log off when the price is jacked up and resell for more than i purchased at.

Cloth for example- 3.5g during the day, ive sold as high as 27g a stack at night. And it always sells.

Ill also toss in a few with an extra zero. Idk if its bots or mods theyre using but if i put a bunch at 27g and then a few at 270g theyll sell too. Lol.

I just started on wrath two weeks ago and have more gold than i think i had in all of wrath combined.

Blizzard had active gms and perm banned people who bought gold in 2004-2009 era, they legit would delete all gold, delete your entire account perma, so there was no inflaiton.

Wow classic is 100% unmoderated, hacks/bots/scripts/rmt is out of control, and if a gold buyer does get caught, its a slap on the wrist

Considering I gave you the delta of what I found, pointed out that T7 pots went down ahead of Ulduar release, but also pointed out what they had done while T7 was current I think you’re either incredibly dense or a troll, and neither is worth my time. Enjoy your stay on my ignore list.

Yeah, this is the average experience. Pots will be high for some amount of time, and they will gradually decrease as more and more people get the typical drops that are not big ticket items. Someday 300 or 400k pots will be the outlier, and be done simply because a big ticket item dropped that people get into bidding wars over.

Right now the average Ulduar pot is probably around 300k, at least on Mankrik. I expect to see as much if not more in ICC. I’m not sure how TOGC will go. It’s a decently accessible raid tier if memory serves and with no trash it may not be as popular or spendy of a place.

I have been sitting on 15k gold for months now, this was mostly from playing my DK during pre-patch and then Wrath questing/dailies on my main until I was done with the rep grind. I put no effort or time into making more gold now.

Doing dailies every day will net you at least 1k gold a week, putting in minimal effort, just doing some dailies a day and a daily dungeon, this amounts to 1 hour every day. You can make more than this if you play a few hours every day doing all the dailies and both daily dungeons.

If you’re poor in Wrath it’s because you’re not playing the game.
