Just want to point out that this is an example where lore does not match what occurs in game. In game events are very limited by game mechanics and so sometimes are different.
In lore Jaina was not walking around killing fleeing combatants. She (and her forces) only used force against those who resisted arrest. Some of those people were killed for sure, as happens sometimes when violence breaks out. But it most definitely was not Jaina stalking the streets looking for any red wearing elves to murder.
Edit: Also keep in mind, before the purge Jaina was against kicking the Sunreavers out of Dalaran.
Well that’s funny, seeing as your warchief and her pet couldn’t kill anything even remotely challenging. She basically shoots arrows and that’s it, same as Nathanos.
Easy. Think of Jaina as that school teacher going into her school and doing the unthinkable. Only because other people she hated took back a artifact that elves stole.
didnt she just take on all the horde champions during the siege of dazar’alor raid in order to buy the alliance fleet time to escape after their job was done? she wasn’t hiding behind anyone, she took you face on.
also im pretty sure garrosh captured those civilians anyways, and made the parents fight each other for the orcs amusement by holding their children hostage
My question is, how do Garrosh lovers defend their BS?
He was clearly mentally unstable from the start and a horrible leader. He spent most of his life crying into a fire about how life is pointless. Finds out his dad was an awful person that did one decent act and suddenly he’s all “me orc smash, me hate Alliance even though I just heard about them 5 minutes ago.”
He wanted to pick a fight with the Alliance every chance he got despite being told by his betters to knock it off just so he could prove how much of an Orc he was. I’m convinced the whole thing in Stonetalon was his plan he just got caught by the player being there so played it off as if he didn’t order it and killed the Orc to hide his shame. I mean the guy sure seemed surprised Garrosh was upset with him. He showed time and time again that he was not a good leader and should have not been put in charge of commanding peons let alone the Horde.
Then when he is beaten he runs away to throw an entire different timeline of Orcs into the meat grinder just to yet again prove to everyone how much of an Orc he is. When it finally comes down to paying for his lifetime of being pathetic he does what he does best and blames Thrall for all of his failings.
Blizzard admitted themselves during a Blizzcon panel that they screwed up royally with Garrosh’s writing, and had a failure to keep all quest/story folks on the same page. Stonetalon is what he was intended to be; MoP is where he went cray cray.
Completely untrue. Read the novel, there were civilians (including the gnome mage who’s father runs around Dalaran) that were murdered with the Mana Bomb, along with Rhonin’s flowing locks of hair in containing the explosion.
Jaina’s had a lot of crap fall on her after years trying to maintain the peace along with Thrall. She had ample reasons for why she was distrustful and angry.
The alliance have lost cities and thousands of innocent civillians to the horde. The horde blighted villages, nuked a night elf school and a human city, and has attempted genocide and almost succeeded on both Night elves and Worgen.
Horde people qq about a tauren camp and a couple of imprisoned blood elves in Dalaran that happened 5 years ago.
And now the new horde fotm qq is that random sketchy zandalari king that they met 5 minutes ago dying.
This is why people say the horde are thin skinned.
I’m still greatly annoyed that we NEVER see any response about the Horde Pandaren Huojin racial leader, Ji Firepaw, being ACTIVELY TORTURED BY THE DARK SHAMAN during the Siege of Orgimmar raid.
They are beating and threatening to kill him, and is only rescued when the players fight their way through. Garrosh was insane.
Yeah we had a leader we put our trust in that later turned out to actually be evil and everyone was like “Well that sucks, Onyxia sure got us guys”.
Meanwhile, on the Horde side:
GARROSH DID NOTHING WRONG
SYLVANAS IS MORALLY GRAY
It’s not that the Alliance is the objectively good faction, it’s that the Horde players themselves keep defending objectively evil people within the Horde, even when Blizzard is flashing a big red warning sign at them like “NAH THEY’RE EVIL GUYS”. I mean you guys even hate Nathanos who is objectively a bad person, but not Sylvanas or Garrosh, why?
Jaina was that strong back in MoP. Proceeds to do absolutely nothing during the next two expansions which both could have destroyed all life on Azeroth. “She was killing demons elsewhere” is not a good excuse when literally all the important demons were dealt with by the order halls and other lore figures such as Khadgar and Illidan.
