How could Blizzard have won?

Yep, I get it now. Blizzard needs to listen to you and only you right? Tell me anecdotally how anything would change from the scourge dropping from the sky? Newer models what?

I get it, you want it all, prolly cheaper too like the commercial. Thing is, I have a much different friends list than you, and gosh darn it, I have people who came back for this event in particular, actually a lot of them, some I haven’t seen since Cata.

Clearly not, and clearly you don’t get it.

You’re happy with old rehashes on content even Blizzard admitted wasn’t fun for most.

So, be happy, go play.

Don’t expect everyone else to be you, however.

Good to know that your opinions are hot garbage and you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Mythic raids introduce new mechanics and new bosses/boss phases.

Higher m+ introduces new affixes which change the way you approach things.

Doing both is possible with as little as 3-6 hours a week, super casual.

It sounds like you just have a terrible personality or can’t do mechanics so instead of getting better you just claim anyone who is capable has something wrong with them.

Yeah, the problem is not that the event involves the Scourge, but that the event allows some players to HELP the Scourge. That’s obviously not going to turn out well.

There’s a reason the Legion event didn’t ask players if they wanted to be for or against the Legion.

I believe people fall into 2 categories: those who played it on the ptr and those who didn’t. Those who did play PTR had their fill and are now bored with the event so they want things to go back to normal. Those who didn’t are really excited but upset that its so heavily limited. People are just overly dramatic for attention.

Now you’re just being silly.

We remembered it when the original Naxx launched, and then WOTLK. Specifically because they TURNED IT OFF.

None of your examples even come close to comparing to this - none of those things force you into a mode you do not want. Are you for real with this?

Absolutely agree…but it is funny when other players get froggy and try to gank my Resto druid after I get kicked into pvp. The ending almost makes it worth the annoyance, lol

  1. Normalize stats/damage for players and ghouls.
  2. Ghouls grant XP (with diminishing returns for killing the same ghoul).

What point would experience be for most of the playerbase who are doing this on max level characters?

What Blizzard could have done was to keep the scourge invasion in northrend.

No need to introduce ganking to the levelling world after JUST introducing levelling changes (and more people doing old content)

Phase icecrown to 50, create or reuse a bigger base of operations with actual defenses and have the scourge attack it in INSANE numbers.

Create a reward structure around holding off the inevitable, let players turn on their former allies and attack the base.

Gear given for defending, toys or appearances given for attacking.

Once everyone is dead, wait X minutes and respawn the defenses and purge the undead.

People who dont want to be griefed: happy.
People who want to kill legions of undead: happy.
People who want to be part of the undead swarm overwhelming the living: happy.

Blizzard devs who have to delay a raid tier to put in work for a 2 week event: uh… Probably unhappy.

The main complaints are people griefing levelers. So make there a benefit for people leveling to kill ghouls instead of mobs.

It’s only for a week, the LK event happened 12 years ago and is still talked about today. Many players wanted to experience it but never could, including myself.

Yes, but no one is saying you can’t experience it.

They’re saying they want to opt out. And frankly, you’re getting a raw deal here too. Because they didn’t just let people opt out, they nerfed the event into the ground. You won’t get to experience it the way it was then.

I’m astounded you’re arguing against this. ??? Logically, it doesn’t make sense. It’s only hurting you too.

Not from what I have read on this forum, i.e. main complaint leveling. A lot of people are losing loot from rares and Nathanos because they get turned into zombies.

Never trust Blizzard when they say never. Prime example, Classic.

My question is why didn’t they let low levels participate and scale everything to their level?

Remember Legion Pre-Patch? Everyone was able to take part and it was super fun.

By making it PvP opt in and keeping it in the original iteration that had it at when they first were testing it. That way the cry babies that cried about being a zombie and so forth, which can be purged BTW. Can turn WM off and not have to put up with it. While the people that would actually enjoy the event for what it is and what it offers can experience the full version of the event.

Ahhh I see. That seems like an oversight on Blizzard’s part (not surprised!). It’s also probably a reason why people are doing it more now since some people probably find it amusing to force people to keep trying to kill Nathanos for the weapon. Conceptually though, if you want levelers to take part in the event, I like my suggestions.

It can’t be purged everywhere; at least come here with an informed opinion.

Well if you are going to tell me you invest as little as 3-6 hours per week on Mythic raiding, you lie. Or you are being carried because you are a hot chick, or possibly paying for it. A celebrity maybe?

I’ll be honest, my data might be old, maybe that did introduce a mechanic to recent Mythic Raids. I would not know or care, because of people like you. But don’t you dare tell me that you have invested so little time to achieve that, that is a lie.
