How common is no loot dungeon runs?

have done a couple mythic dungeons with 0 loot, and one where i traded a piece of gear away cuz it wasn’t optimal for me.

new/returning players are lucky they didn’t have to deal with the RNG from the weekly mythic+ box either, because the great vault addressed that too…

you’ll be getting gear handed to you in this expansion, as long as you put just a little work in  rng or not.

If you get absolutely no enjoyment out of running a dungeon / battleground / arena match / raid, whatever tickles your fancy, I hate to tell you but like I mentioned, this might not be the best game for you.

That’s not a good thing.

60% of players were bis within 2 weeks of the new expansion? Link to your source. The chances are good that 60% of players aren’t even raiders and don’t push high keys.

You and your friends abused it because you had no self control? I don’t think that’s a good reason to break the game.

It’s been about 1 out of 3 for no loot. 2/3 I at least get something

Devs said they would reduce loot drops. Sadly I ran 8 dungs yesterday and got 2 items. But having less gear thrown at us isn’t all bad but I do wish they would bump our chances up slightly.

Ran 5 have 0 loot… sad

you have rng’d. It happens. 1st week of the xpac. Gear will eventually rain down

Well, this is what happens when people complain about too many gear drops in BFA. That being said, I’ve had decent luck but have received nothing most of the time.
But, I am okay with not getting constant drops. What I am surprised by is heroics dropping gold and not anima.

BS, Ran 4 straight dungs yesterday not a drop. Then 3 mythics, got 1 chest piece, then a heroic and got a helm. Ran 3 heroics today and got 1 item that someone gave me. But I don’t mind it taking awhile to get loot. But sadly if I am still feeling this 2 months from now when I don’t have as much time to play then I will probably stop.

They removed one item per boss effectively. The only way for them to up the chances would be to put it right back to where it was.

The effects of M+ will be much less noticeable I think, as long as you time it you get 2 pieces of loot in the chest and you’re guaranteed your vault. Raiders are probably going to notice the change the most. It’s going to be pretty common people will go weeks without getting a piece not including the vault.

For me it has been quite common the last three dungeon runs I’ve made. Don’t say the others because I can’t remember.

LMAO
since day one these games were designed to give REWARD for TIME SPENT lol
HARDLY entitlement to expect to be PAID for doing the WORK
they arent complaining about not getting what the want the first time…theyre complaining for getting NOTHING in return for their TIME SPENT.
Simple enough?

Isn’t’ that kind of what extra rolls do?

Frankly they kinda duped me with prepatch with being able to buy pieces I wanted…even if it wasnt the best.
I made the mistake, apparently, of actually believing blizzard was going to give up its jokey abusive ways on RNG…obviously that was an error on my part.
Same old blizzard. Nothing new to see here folks. Put in the time, get squat for your efforts.

TBH i wish they’d scrap M+ and use badges/points as the main source of keeping dungeons relevant. Especially since they can scale ilevel down for dungeons to the entry level so you can’t ever outgear them, and then also sell stacks of materials or stuff for the points so you always have something to spend it on even after you get the gear.

Like vendors could have gear (and be able to upgrade it a bit, basically how PVP honor gear works right now), material stacks, maybe even not-as-good-as-crafted potions and stuff (so you can stopgap things but it’s better to craft), basically anything to keep you wanting to get the badges even when you don’t need the gear.

IMHO that’d be a way better way to keep dungeons relevant than trying to make the game about speedrunning.

very common now

I’ve had multiple runs where I’ve looted nothing but gold. It is awful.

probably the ‘sweaty’ people as a guild member called them, i.e. the ones who chain run dungeons.

2 out of my 8 mythic 0 gave me no loot.

since most dungeons only have 3-4 bosses, and there are 5 people in a dungeon group, assuming one person gets loot per boss it isn’t uncommon for there to be someone who just doesn’t get loot from the dungeon.

i healed like 9 dungeons the other day for the satchel and got no loot from any of them.
