How can I re-get my fishing buff while swimming

Set up the scenario like this

  1. equip Underlight Angler
  2. go swimming
  3. lose the fishing buff (clicking it off works)

How do you get it back without unequipping and reequipping the underlight angler from the fishing journal now? On land, you can cast the rod, but not while swimming.

The only way I know to get the fishing pole equipped is to either drag it into the fishing journal slot or cast it. It would be nice if you could re-apply Fishing For Attention via a macro, but I haven’t seen any posts saying that’s possible.

So if it’s already equipped (so can’t equip it) and you’re swimming (so can’t cast it), you’re SoL? :frowning:

So it seems. You’ll have to remove it from the Journal & put it back. Or if you have something like the fishing raft toy you could use that to get out of the water.

My current “solution” is to carry two rods, and an equip macro.
